Just like the transformer the pump actually does nothing. Both are merely ways of connecting multiple cables and hoses. They should be called connectors rather than what they are called at the moment. I think that later in the game there uses might indeed be different than what they are at the moment. Longer videos don't mean better video's IMHO. I think you have shown all there is to show with the beta.
