  1. Cvit, have you ever played Robot Alchemic Drive? Mech action game, but a slower one because it really emphasizes the sheer mass of giant mechs. It's basically "Pacific Rim: The Anime: The Game" and I love it SO much

  2. Renting Berserk Guts' Rage from a Blockbuster was my first exposure to Berserk. It was a cool fantasy action game. Controls were not even an issue at the time of release. There's a variety of moves to use, depending on your surroundings. Jump attack bypasses any sword-bouncing off of the walls issues.

  3. Been playing a lot of PS2 action games recently, and only played Swords of Destiny last week. I had to abandon it because I value my time too much, but I did get really far into it. You go through all of my frustrations with the game. Sword Time is a cool idea implemented poorly. Blood Will Tell is amazing (I'm one of those people that got it for like £15 a few months before it rocketed up in price) I've started to notice a pattern with games from this era, I also finished Onimusha 2 last week… Cool game, dogshit final boss.

  4. uuh i've seen Urban Reign on that List, honestly a fantastic Brawler with some flaws (enemies juggling you can become very annoying) but very statisfying gameplay. You even get Marshall Law and Paul Pheonix from the Tekken games as unlockable Characters 😀

  5. This era of consoles/gaming just has a wondeful magic to it, the opposite of an uncanny valley to me.

The textures are solid at this point and the hardware is finally allowing to get the screen filled with visuals.

Most of these products feel like gestalt triumphs – where i just briefly look on screen and have this sensation of a depth behind this games that i frankly just dont get from any other period of gaming.

  6. One day many years ago, I was playing Rygar on the PS2. I was fighting that boss with the baby heads and it was kicking my ass. Then I started getting some good hits in. So I said "F U, F U, F U!" to the boss. I thought it was okay to say that because that's what John Cena's finisher was called. My friend that was watching me play said, "Yeah F U!". Then my mom came into the room and said, "What do you think you're saying?!". Then she screamed at me, made me turn off the game, and sent my friend home. I was 10 years old.

  7. Oh my god wow this video hits things on the head nicely, Im currently in a time where im not financially struggling but mentally struggling. Video games are not only the foundation of my social links but quite frankly its who I am. I Recently bought a PS2 to just take a seat back and play classics. I own all the new consoles but it all feels the same.

  8. I have recently started recording content on real hardware again and must say, I missed my PS2 so much. There are so many obscure games on that console. I highly recommend Cold Winter, my favorite exclusive for the PS2 and a very violent James-Bond-esque inspired FPS. I managed to get JarekTheGaminDragon to review it, but wish I could show more this game!
