Nysunder Game – Dev Vlog #03

Nysunder Game has been updated! Happy new year 🙂

It’s been a rough road with plenty of growing pains, but we’ve finally got something to show you. It’s (very) work in progress right now, so please feel free to leave your opinions / feedback in the comments below.

Please keep in mind : Soldatra Studios is a self funded organization that currently doesn’t rely on publishers or crowdfunding to operate. This is something I do in my spare time. Thank you to everyone who has been patient and actively communicated with us in Discord, as well as moderators and the story writer. Your help means a lot!

  1. You’ve made a lot of good improvements, if I could change anything you showed in the video it would be the impact sounds of the melee combat, maybe layering a low end kick drum over the sound you already have would give more of an impact

  2. I can see the game becoming a massive franchise in the future, to say it has potential is an understatement, the game's potential is being used very well and instead of every update video being a letdown, it gives me even more hope for the game. Great work honestly, keep striving for better results as I can tell with the effort being shown right now. Good luck with the game and I'm looking forward to the future.

  3. great job!! i'm just gonna point something "weird looking" is not even bad but the right swing of the hammer looks very strange, i think it could be better if u could slow the animation a little bit and make it a little bit wider, like the hammer sure is heavy, a little bit more of range in that swing and slowing down the speed when u rise the hammer would look more natural i think

  4. Take your time , i think theres room for improvement for animations , the graphics are good but they can be better.Despite being alot of time consuming i hope you most of all enjoy making this game, im really hype for when this game comes out. I dont know if its dificult but have you consider making like "events" like if you appear in the same area lets say 5 times during specific times or times of the year , new enemies could be found. like wolves during winter and zeds during summer for example.anyway really enjoy it keep up the good work 🙂

  5. Always love seeing the updates, dude! Even if it's unfinished stuff. All the progress is looking great.
I feel like a crunchy cabbage hit layered in to the melee sound would help sell the impact a little more.

  6. Loved the menu!, I'd only change the typhography but that's just minimal…loved the flies around corpses and how you nailed the lightning. I'm glad we're having such sick zombie games upcoming, like this one, NMRIH2, VEIN, DEAD MATTER (maybe), Blight.

  7. Enrique!!! I miss you guys! I know it's been a long time but after we experienced a loss in the family… alot of things changed in our lives. But anyway, I just wanted to say hi and I'm super proud of what you guys have accomplished so far. I see you guys have been working on the animations… that's awesome!

Oh and like I mentioned the last time I spoke with you… I'm never gone forever 😉 Keep up the great work and I look forward to speaking with you guys again.
