The man was inches away from the third rail and a train was approaching.

The ineptitude of local news. Check the "oh my gosh!" responses at the door. No one needs anchors to become faux emotionally involved.
Glass doors that open when train arives need to be installed. This is ridiculous. If it isn't someone being pushed on the tracks, it's someone falling in.
God bless the NYPD
He did all that for nothing very unnecessary to jump like that ๐
Wow. ABC please be more dramatic
ABCโฆ. Equals fake news.
Usually when there is an incident as the one you describe in your posting the train authority in my area of residence turns the power off and then removes the individual from the tracks. The other passengers just have to wait.
May God bless and keep those two officers. It's nice to see them receive acknowledgment for what they do for a change

God bless our LEOs – especially NYPD!
Thank you NYPD ๐
If i was a cop i wouldve just stand there and made my partner get him from the track while im standing and helping from the platform, i wouldve milked the department badly
That's pretty amazing he never hit the third rail.
Wo๐ฎ๐ฎ Gb good job guys gbu
I donโt get it why is there such a spike in train accidents people jumping? Pushed ( Yes) itโs a phenomenon how many people are falling into the tracks !!!
People prone to having seizures should not stand at the edge of the platform. There is nothing wrong with standing near the wall until the train comes.
What happened to those guard rails they supposed to put up?
Too many people on these platforms and they keep making the Platforms more narrow with blockades, Happy these NYPD officers did something for once, not to sound mean but many of them abuse their power blocking the doors even when you pay go really hard over $2.90 when you have people getting sexually harassed and odd figures that are quite hostile. I give credit where itโs due and Iโm glad they rescued this guy. However, is anyone going to acknowledge the people who helped pull the cop up? He clearly was out of shape and should go through more training to be physically able. He could have put that persons life in more danger and of course himself. Iโm not saying this to be mean , I was in the medical field and was demanded and required out of me to be physically fit to perform my duties. NYPD needs to get it Together. Overall a happy ending God bless and be safe and well.

He was that close to the edge that he fell on the tracks? ๐
The Bronx is Hell!!!! Those Demons are all in the Bronx
Where are all the cop haterโs
Those tracks are cursed. I'm glad he's ok! My friend use to have those episodes and my best friend died of seizures when I was in high school and I have a cousin that had it! Scary and worked with a wheelchair bound child that have it
Thanks for saving his life, but they still jumped the rails, that's considered fare evasion right?
