About JamesandKarla:

Hey everyone! We are husband-and-wife architectural/interior photographers based in NYC. We started our video channel to act an artistic intervention to help raise awareness of the importance of small independently-owned businesses and the unique character these shops add to the streets and neighborhoods of New York City.

In our videos we will showcase portraits of storefronts and shop owners in New York City & beyond and capture moments of city life that capture the spirit, energy and cultural diversity of individual neighborhoods. We also bring our dog, Hudson along whenever we can.

  1. Thanks for the 2nd part of the Hudtober Halloween walk with the Snackeasaurous. As we returned, our heroes start back to the live stream after losing signal but it starts to rain hard, so they walk under scaffolding to avoid getting wet. Hudson got a lot of love for his costume and our heroes walked back to Union Square.They ran into Elmo again and "The Cat in The Hat" as the arrived at Union Square. They were many more people there in their costumes and they were chanding something in the square. They stayed away from the crowd and continue to walk around the square, watching people in their costumes like Ghostbusters, a rap battle, Gandof and a chainsaw head. Hudson as always gets a lot of love whenever he goes, especially with the Snackasaurus costume. The rain picked up again as they walked around, seeing many more costumes along the way including Hudson admirers. It continue on with the halloween crowd getting larger. They meet channel supporter "Bloodsport", who was very nice and had a McDonald's bag that Hudson notice on him. The night continue on with the crowd getting more big and rowdy with fire works while they walked around until they decided to end the live stream.

I can read Hudson's mind and he's yawning and he's saying when am I going to get pizza I'm walking around here in the rain in this costume and when are you going to feed me some pizza when am I going to get some food otherwise take me home I don't want to be walking around here in the rain with these strange people in costumes he says feed me and then take me home I don't want to be walking in this rain lol he says give me food or take me home I'm tired of this crazy people walking around in costumes walking around in the rain LOL

It's a shame that it started raining on the parade all day it was sunny and beautiful 60° and then the rain started around 8:00 p.m. just when parade started anyway looking forward to your next YouTube videos and make sure you get well soon hot tea hot soup and don't forget oil of oregano drops are very good for colds f l u also extra don't forget to take extra vitamin C and extra zinc that's good for the immune system and of course don't forget vitamin D3 because it's not much sunshine in New York now that it's November okay guys take care and I'll see you on your next YouTube and don't forget everyone hit the like button and subscribe when you watch your Channel

  12. Nice skeleton pants, Karla. I didn't notice them until the second video. It looked like all of New York was out for Halloween and the parade. I'm not up on popular culture either, so I recognized only a small number of the characters. Extra good job, guys, and a big hug for Hudson!

  14. Love the 'snack-a-saurus' outfit/idea. Great vibe/atmosphere. So funny when Hudson sat facing the hot dog vendor and then attempted to charge inside. Liked the quip about James probably having eaten too many rum chocolate barrels. Lol

I show the clip to my mother, she was laughing the way hudson put out his paw to slap the McDonald bag. I always watch you guys, sometimes you're in my work area.
