  1. Holy Fuck with literally every single interview, talk, post, tweet, etc, by a current or former Bethesda dev my view of them gets worse and more black pilled. I now see why they started shutting most of their people up after Skyrim.

  2. the best part of nuka-world is that, in order to actually get anything out of the DLC (story missions, unique loot, perks), you're forced to side with the raiders (and you fuck over your relationship with preston, if you care about that one way or another). if you just fight them immediately you get basically nothing.

  3. Hey pat on previous stream you mentioned the crows are synths
Turns out there are 2 models for crows and the ones with red eyes are called "CrowSynth.nif" and normal ones are just "Crow.nif"
BUT the red eye model is not used
the creator of the model Mark Teare stated on his tumblr that he wanted to implement both but at some poin they changed it so that all crows are "watchers" so that is why it is unused model
    So all crows are synths…kinda

  4. I strongly disagree with the idea that Skyrim had a better intro than Oblivion. At least Oblivion instantly sent you to character creation and gave you control of your character afterward. The intro Cutscene is skippable, Skyrim has a long droning intro, and even when you get to move, your hands are still bound, so your control is limited for a while.

  5. 2:42:55 I love how this gives the impression of Bethesda writers getting so fucking pissed at the slightest attempt of player choice, lmao. This is funnier than Preston Garvey telling you to go fuck yourself in the beginning of Fallout 4, only for his quest to be accepted right afterward.

  6. If you just have enough electricity ??? your power armor becomes invincible!

BUT IF HE GETS WET IT STOPS WORKING ??????

At this point it might as well all be magic,

This is what you get when your writers are high-school drop outs/ never took a single stem class.

  7. Skyrim and FO4 quests break for the stupidest reasons. Quest progression should not hinge on an NPC saying a line. Every other Bethesda game before Skyrim didn't have this problem with getting screwed by random flags anywhere close to this extent. In those games almost always if you skip to a quest stage, it progresses smoothly. Modern BGS wants you to hear their dialog so badly, they'll be damned if they let you skip it without consequence.

  8. What annoys me is that each of the raider gangs would be functional if only they didn't add the quirk to them.
None of them work because of that quirk.
Operators are kleptomaniacs because they believe money to be a holy artefact that infidels are unworthy of holding.

The Disciples could work if they used brutality as a means to an end, making them people you don't want to mess with or they'll gut you like a fish. Instead they just kill everyone. You are not allowed to fear them, because you can't surrender, you either kill them or they kill you.

The Pack is the most functional as a society, but their aesthetic is the worst I've ever seen. Spraypainting pink and green are not intimidating, it's just ugly. They are the only ones incorporating Nuka World merch into them, and they are all worse off for it, like the red armour that is ruined by the bright blue teddy bear hanging on it. They look worse than the vanilla raiders.

  9. I think youtube listened to you through my microphone and is now sending me ads for therapy to cure depression.

    No, I don't have depression.

EDIT: Specifically regarding the bits about Will Shen's mental health at Bethesda, I meant to say.

  10. 4:32:47 I have so many games I have played like half way through and really enjoyed but didn't finish it for whatever reason. Honestly I haven't finished a game in a long time and when I do it's typically a years of it sitting there unplayed then I go back to it for a few days before putting it down again.

  11. Ah Nuka World, loved the idea, hated the execution. Still played it to death since it gave me the impetus to murder hobo my way across the wasteland with an army of furries and dudes in bullet belts and dixie ties.

Gage is legit my favourite FO4 companion though, and Mason is so haawt.
