Australia’s firefighting efforts have undergone a significant upgrade.

This change comes as the New South Wales Rural Fire Service acquires the largest-capacity waterbombing helicopter in Australia, now permanently based in Sydney’s North-West.

  1. Helicopters add oxygen to a fire much like a bellow. I highly believe instead of using helicopters to dump water onto a fire they should use sound cannons attached to trucks. Or use any method to take the oxygen out of the fires.

Cmon humans let’s think about it.

  3. ahh they are going to start lighting fires for climate change again. like with the 5g towers they were not cleared to start putting up they will use the fires as a cover and to clear bushlands for new developments and renewables.

  4. Oddly enough, the chopper brought here to fight the fires they say are caused by climate change, was flown here on a massive fossil fuel powered jet, which, it is claimed is one of the causes of climate change……..

  5. Could this Fire 🔥 Fighting Chinook Helicopter, also be used to fight Electric Car Battery 🔋Fires 🔥 too.

Maybe dropping 11,000 litres of water, from height say 30 to 50 metres up and above plus directly on to a Electric Car on Fire 🔥.

Because of thermal runway Fire 🔥, in the battary energy pack.

May just be the best way, to put out an Electric Car 🔥 in one go!

If this Fire 🔥 Fighting Chinook, can put out Electric 🚗 Car Fires 🔥?

Then it could be the best and only way, in the future to put out these growing number of Electric 🚗 Car Fires 🔥 quickly and easily in one go!

Then maybe every Fire Recuce Service, around the World.

Should be looking at buying one of these modified Boeing CH-47 Chinook Fire 🔥 Fighting helio's, that is from military 🚁 helicopters!

A Fire 🔥 Fighting Chinook helicopter, may of help the Dutch Coast Guard Service, with this very large Car Transporter Vessel on Fire 🔥 in the North Sea,

Both this vessel is just off the coast of Holland, also more importantly with 500 Electric Cars onboard.

Also more than likely all these Electric 🚗 Cars onboard are happily Burning away on Fire 🔥 too!

Along with around 3,200 new vehicles onboard, this very large Car Transporter Vessel.

Which is now being towed, to some safety mooring or unnamed port, that will risk having this vessel on fire🔥 and sinking too, actually in their port too.

But this Fire 🔥 Fighting Chinook, could made a difference here, or would have in the Dutch Coast Guard Emergency.

Or could make a difference in future Car Transporter Vessels Fires 🔥 too, which involving EV's on Fire 🔥 onboard too!

  6. Their information is a bit incorrect, the Erickson S64 aircrane can carry 9000L of water in it's tank, it's more likely that the maroon and white S64 aircranes carry about 6 because their tanks do look a bit smaller the Chinook can carry 10,000 11 at the most but the Chinook is limited to what what it can lift not by engine or transmission but by airframe limitations and I heard this first hand from a Coulson's Chinook pilot and engineer
