  1. You forgot one more game that is getting an update- Sandrock is celebrating its first full year of release so on Nov 2nd, we are getting a cowboy outfit and the romance DLC is going to be released on PC at least on the 2nd as well lol

  2. Excited for the Mistria update! its been the biggest surprised for me in years. also gonna be diving into stardew update on console. Petit island looks so cute, it reminds me a little of Alba!

Farmagia I'm a little eeeh on. I kind of wish the resources spent on it just went into making sure the new rune factory was as good as it could be. I also really don't like the art style at all, both the 2d illustration and the 3d graphics.

  3. Wow! I've never heard of MySims. Farmagia looks good. I hope it doesn't feel like Monster Harvest where the monsters don't feel like they matter. You harvest one and it almost immediately dies. But I guess that's the point.

Since I played Chef RPG recently, I might try the Magical Bakery demo and see if I like it. Luma Island and Critter Cafe might be interesting. If they have demos I might try those, too.

  4. So many good games coming out, I'm gonna be poor by end of November LOL. I'm keen to keep an eye on Mirthwood, Critter Cafe, Magical Bakery, MySims, and will 100% buy Luma Island, I really enjoyed the demo of it. It's only 4 full days of demo because big event happened on Day 5 that will change Luma Island, so that's exciting. I have Fields of Mistria but not played yet, so it's great that I'll have new contents already in the game by the time I'll eventually play it.

Great video covering November releases & updates, thank u Josh!

  5. honestly if you can get into it like i did farming sim 22 or 25 you cant go wrong cause the mod community always makes new towns and farms so for one game you get about 200 different towns and fields and its very very cozy.

  6. I don't know why, but it's hard for me to enjoy cozy/farming games that put you in the role of a character. I always want to create who I'm playing as and interact with the community.

  7. I just came across your channel so I don't know anything about what you like. I played the demo of Critter Cafe and it didn't stand out to me like others did (Magical Inn was better for example). I found the minigames a bit difficult and were not fun for me. Thanks for recommending Mirthwood, will try it out.

  8. I played My Sims… but on the DS, and it was rather boring. I couldn't get into it, as I had Animal Crossing: City Folk on my Wii that was far more entertaining. I never saw the Wii port of the game, until I saw a certain review of it, and saw the game had an issue with lagging out/loading extremely long, and I just didn't wanna deal with that. XD

I'm still curious about Farmagia, but decided I'll just wait to pick the game up at a later time. I'm much more interested in Fields of Mistria, but I'm also not touching the game until it's officially released. XD I'm patient enough to wait to experience the completed version, ya know~?

  9. I’m looking forward to finally playing the Stardew Valley update!
I loved playing MySims on the Wii but I don’t think I ever finished it so it’ll be fun going back and reliving a little bit of my childhood.

  10. Farming Simulator ‘25 looks so good! I actually had no idea that they were adding so much. I’m especially looking forward to the Asian map. 😊

As for Fields of Mistria; is it on Switch yet? That’s the only reason I’ve held off on getting it. (forever no Coral Island on Switch…)

    MySims looks cute!

  11. Loved the My Sims series. Agents was my fave but it's a totally different type of game than the other 2. I liked Kingdom more than the regular My Sims but both were fun. I don't think I'll be getting the Switch versions as I still have the original ones if I want to play them. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who hasn't played them before though.

I'm most looking forward to Luma Island and the Fields of Mistria update. I also have Mirthwood (and I think Everholm) on my wish list. November should be a good month for games.

  13. as someone who has been playing Farming Simulator since the first game I am glad to see it being talked about outside of it's usual player base, interesting thing about 25 is that they have announced that there will be npcs to talk to, how in depth it will be is yet unknown

  14. My wallet is crying!

But that is a good problem to have, I suppose! So many options give the possibility of getting exactly what you want out of a game.

I'm glad my birthday is in November.

  15. Thanks for reminding me about all these games. Mirthwood is definitely on my radar, I've been wanting a farming game with more challenges and consequences. I'm also interested in Farming Simulator for the first time,, maybe this will be my introduction to the series.

  16. I encourage ppl who love to play on nintendo switch to get a steam deck when they go on sale– Just get the cheapest one cause you can add memory cards later

Seriously. It allows you to play early access games of games you love instead of waiting years. If it diesbt have controller support? Well someone will mod it in of you can create your own controls

Not only that but you will get better graphics as its on a larger screen ans can play games in higher quality. Seriously, I can play BG3 on steamdeck.

There is also much more games especially indie ones to choose from, and since its steam you get more sales. I saw DDV on nintendo switch get a 20% discount a year ago compared to Steam where their discounts go to 60% and happen more often.

On top of this. You can mod your games. I have BG3 and Stardew Valley modded to high hell and it runs great! You also get their updates (like 1.6) day of rather than waiting months. The Deck itself even has a desktop mode so you search the internet for mods!!

It does look scarier to use than it actually is but I havent touched my switch since. Especially with how much more ergonomic the console is to hold.

  17. I think a lot of new players will be disappointed with MySims. They are extremely shallow , particularly for players used to current-gen expectations. You can beat each one in a single sitting each.

  18. I haven't tried the Critter Café demo for hours, but I found the game far too simple. It is very cute, but from my point of view that's about it. I think the target audience must be younger than me hahah

  19. I played MySims’s DS version & MySims Kingdom before I ever got to play MySims for Wii. It’d be nice if they merged both games together because while I like the Wii ver I prefer the DS version more because it feels like there’s more to do even if you’re unable to build outside of your house.

MySims Kingdom is a little different from MySims, you travel to different islands & help people with their problems. Areas are prebuilt but you do get to do some building whether helping build an actual home or building onto stuff or customizing prebuilt stuff. It’s a little different but I enjoy it & feels like there’s more tasks to do. I feel bad cause it looks like I’m complaining about MySims for the Wii due to having a better experience with other MySims games, I enjoyed the game & played to the point of unlocking every area available to place houses at it’s just that it felt like there wasn’t much to do after that & maybe one task from each character in town. Meanwhile MySims DS has you interacting with people visiting on vacation, helping the town get back on it’s feet, make friends, explore the world, help out the town/surrounding areas & minigames, it was partly Animal Crossing but with MySims.

Despite my complaints & rambling I look forward to playing both games on my Switch & can’t wait to rebuild the town in MySims before trying to make a house for two elves in MySims Kingdom.
