  1. 199 vs 649 nah ill keep me neo lol especially if dji bring a new version out, maybe next year I'll bet it will blow the socks off the hoover air pro and still be cheaper. Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

  2. The neo is just way too over sharpened in this video, while the Hoverair max's video quality far exceeds neo's, i'm not sure i'd pick that over the neo due to the vast price difference, and if i'm gonna be using a drone for activities like that, i don't really care much for supreme video quality. I'll use the mini 4 pro for cinematic video. But i do love what Zerozero is doing with their hoverair though, especially with the beacon. Thanks for the video.

  3. I was hoping the X1 would come with 360 degree obstacle avoidance, sadly its rear sensor seems not to work that well either. The only positive seems to be the camera, but is it worth that price difference? And remember that price is Indigogo price not local pricing after import duty tax and retailer mark up. The Neo and X1 already includes all that

  4. Nice idea to compare those drones and preparing further tests and reviews
I am surprised with by many Indiegogo bakers and also tech youtubers that they are disappointed with X1 pro/max new drone and not understanding or explaining what is indiegogo product launch
I mean indiegogo product is an investment to support the manufacturer and its product developpment with being rewarded a discount versus what it will be when officially distributed
This drone will have regular new firmware and should become what it has been advertised and maybe even better
This has been true for many drones and other indiegogo products for many years
Your strong expertise has given you the chance to get this frone for free but your viewers should be aware of the above ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. Why do manufacturers always over hype in marketing videos then release a buggy disaster of a drone, the Neo had tracking issues, but at least everything works as in the app and controller on release. I personally have not had tracking issues with my Neo and the camera quality seems fine to me. I am hoping the next gen Mini series will adopt the same AI as the Neo so also can be flown without the controller, I see no reason it cannot have that??

  6. I saw another YouTuber flying both the Neo and new X1 pro together, they also crashed into each other the Neo was still in one piece, however the X1 battery separated. And that was only 1.5 metres in height!

  7. Loved the intro flying 3 drones. Great fun. Although the Hover X1 Pro Max has a great spec, it costs an eye watering amount of money. The DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo costs a lot less. Even the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo costs less than the new X1 Pro Max. That said, the big limitation for me with the NEO is speed – and tracking speed in particular. Other YT videos suggest the Neo stops tracking at around 20 km/h so itโ€™s not very good for following me on a bike unless Iโ€™m going slowly and definitely wonโ€™t be any good following me while skiing. Iโ€™m not in a rush so I think I might just hang on and wait and see if DJI brings out a pro version of the Neo.

  8. Got my X1 Pro with Beacon today. The US$428 X1 Pro price (no Beacon) I thought wasnโ€™t too bad. Extra US$144 for the Beacon.
The big thing for me as a cyclist is the 42kph speed can keep up which my previous Hover X1 could not. The DJI Neo was an immediate no go as itโ€™s too slow too like the original X1. Also Neo misses that X1 feature of folding away. To slip in my cycling jersey pocket or frame bag has been a huge advantage with the X1 for my needs.
Anyway just day 1 for me. Havenโ€™t encountered any bugs as yet so looking forward to a gravel biking adventure with it next weekend!

  9. Great video comparing the drones together ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ŒFor the money the Neo is a no brainer, the video quality that comes from the Neo can easily be enhanced with Topaz Video AI like I showed in a video on my channel. HoverAir X1 ProMax way overpriced. When DJI comes out with a Neo 2Pro or similar it will be awesome for sure. For now with a little enhancing to video quality out of the Neo can be enhanced with some editing and Topaz Video AI. So for me the Neo is the clear winner price vs. quality. Greetings from ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ

  10. What worries me with the max pro is the no fly restricted zone thing that Ive seen coming up on various reviews. I live in the UK and im betting that going to come up a lot. I cant afford to keep getting down to a venue only for it not to fly. I know its the law, but it makes it possibly a bad buy for my use.

  11. Boy's and girls….if the Neo suites your purposes that's fine. For me it's to slow for my use case and the Hover is foldable just like my previous X1. That with the 4K (Pro version) is the reason I bought it and am willing to pay more. Don't have it yet ๐Ÿคญ still waiting…..

  12. Dunno…Neo looked crisper with better color. I know they say Neo is oversharpened but…Neo is less than half the price. I just got the DJI last week and tried it on a moderately gnarly downhill MTB trail in the woods, sadly it got hung up by a tree in the first 5 seconds, then had great difficulty following me down a twisting, wooded trail, parking itself 4 more times, and I was only going about 1/4 normal speed. It would likely work better in the open. I'm hoping the Hover w Beacon might perform better for MTB in tight spaces, waiting on more vids of this subject matter. Cheers

  13. Speed is where it's at with this new generation !
Interesting it didn't crash in the branches at the end, my X1 probably would have. Their "AI" tracking really mimics onboard sensors.

  14. I think I would mainly use the 8K for transposing with key frames to zoom in say, on wildlife, so as not to scare them and still have good resolution. Seems rather pointless for dronie and rocket. Most people don't have 8K monitors.

  15. Cost has never been a limiting factor for me as drones usually keep incredibly good value on secondary market… BUT I would never buy such an expensive flying object without any decent care refresh plan from manufacturer. I'll wait for the NEO Pro…๐Ÿ˜Š
