The war between Ukraine and Russia continues to freeze the Eastern Bloc in winter.

But the war’s change in climate conditions, creating frost, has a very different effect in Scandinavia.

For Scandinavia, on the contrary, the war in Ukraine is creating a fierce heat.

So far, the Oslo government has sent the Ukrainian army 8 Leopard 2A4 tanks, two NASAMS missile defense systems, a thousand Black Hornet small reconnaissance aircraft, Dingo armored vehicles with Cortex Typhon Counter-UAS systems, 100 Mistral air defense missiles, 4 thousand anti-tank guns, helmets, bulletproof vests, other protective equipment, 22 M109 155m tracked self-propelled howitzers.

Apparently, Norway does not want the Russian threat on NATO’s Scandinavian flank and wants to prevent Putin’s possible invasion moves against its neighbors Finland and Sweden before they occur.

This is why, in addition to all this military aid to Ukraine, the Oslo government has recently launched a new aid plan.

  4. If you study physics in school and the treaties over the last 50 years NUCs is not a danger no matter who has them . Its the emotionalism and adult juvenile immaturity and lack of self decisive control over warfare and policy that is the greatest danger to man. NUCS just sit in the silos. They do not launch themselves. People launch NUCS. Leaders among the people are potentially the most dangerous. Solution? Stop stomping on others different than self and negotiate.   10. Ukraine should work to destroy all Russia's ability to process oil and bring the oil up out of the ground and destroy all their mineral mines. Ukraine should really work on bringing Russia's Logistics and infrastructure down to dust so they can begin all over again to rebuild their country and that will keep them busy and keep them from wanting to take over other people's lands

  14. Much about Russia and their claims are fake. Former US President Nixon said they're excellent liars and actors as it's now reflected by Putin's and Lavrov's statements. I visited Moscow long ago and saw many impressive but fake empty buildings. Fancy front facings but totally empty behind front walls. It seems Ukraine knows the Russian charade well.

The land border with Mordor has been carefully developed on Finland's side with strategic forest roads, all of which have multiple cul-de-sacs, making them a huge maze. So, Norway can brag all it wants to and everyone is grateful the oil-rich neighbors are stepping up their contributions to Ukraine. But the fact remains that Finland is the buffer between Mordor and the Nordic countries on this side of the Baltic Sea. Recently Finland and Estonia made a naval defensive agreement, which essentially has turned the Gulf of Finland into Lake NATO.

  29. I neither believe that Russia has the military capability to attack another country for centuries, nor that any nato member is seriously worried that this could happen. They try barely to keep what they have so far until the US will stop all this madness.

  44. Stop saying Oslo government, it's Norwegian government, but they are located at Oslo.
    For example we ain't saying Washington D.C Government. Do we?

    Also Norway did increase in total from $1,5 billion last year till $7,5 billion (this is minimum and not a roof at 2025 needed too be very clear about that) and there are alot of critismn from norwegian people that it's still way too small amount. Specially when we are thinking about how much money has Norway has increased since the war because the europe stopped too import gas and oil from Russia and getting it from Norway instead so we have increased the oilfund from 12,216 nok billion since 1. january 2022 increased till todays value are now 19,710 nok billion. So we know that Norway has making alot of money last few years and the norwegian budget surplus has also "exploded" so they were forced too put alot of money back into the oilfund. 2024 alone did we make about $50 billion surplus in the norwegian budget and oilfund had surplus about $200 billions and the year earlier that again (2023) it was about $100 billions in surplus of the norwegian budget. So just last two years we had too put about $150 billions in our oilfund.

    So we should be increasing our support too Ukraine with much more money.
    We have more then enough of money, and what Ukraine government need are money right now.
