Kahekili Highway, also known as the “Death Highway” along the northern tip of the west mountains of Maui. One of Maui’s most adventurous drives, Hwy 340 is a 20 miles strip of one-lane paved road with rock face on one side and sheer cliff drops on the other. It’s a legendary road known for its snaking turns, narrow passages, and dangerous road conditions.Driving to this road is risky because of the single lane portions of the road and sharp turns with zero visibility of any on coming cars that’s why there is a need for a slow speed
