Georgia Tech pulled of the upset over a ranked North Carolina for the third straight season, winning 46-42. The Yellow Jackets rushed for 348 yards, 178 by running back Dontae Smith, 90 by quarterback Haynes King and 80 by RB Jamal Haynes. King completed 23 of 30 picks for 287 yards and 4 touchdowns. UNC quarterback Drake Maye threw for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 58 yards and another TD, while running back Omarion Hampton rushed for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss. The two teams combined for over 1,200 yards of offense along with the 88 points in a high-scoring thriller.
