Life on the Rim isn’t always peaceful – or rather, it’s almost never peaceful. A small colony of farmers finds out just how brutal the Rim can be when a local gang of pirates attacks their home. One of their children is kidnapped, and if they ever want to see him again, they must act fast. Will our protagonists be successful in their rescue mission, or will the pirates repurpose their skin into finely upholstered armchairs?
