  1. This is a good overall explanation EXCEPT for the "if x fictional character existed in the FF verse", if say for an example Goku existed in this specific verse then yes he would be subject to that verses differing physics and planck lengths.

  2. But in the case of Fire Force world, the first statement (that you described as 🤓) is true because after The Great cataclysm changed rules of physics, just like in Soul Eater. This means that in this particular world, things that happen with Shinra when he starts going ftl would happen with every other character who achieves ftl speed

  3. This kinda overlaps with the verse equalization issue of characters doing feats that physically break the laws of physics if put in a different verse/neutral ground where those feats are considered impossible to do i.e. FTL speed, FTL KE, measuring the latent heat fusion of absolute zero, etc.

  4. This is exactly how I feel on mha and fire forces insane speeds, Deku moving so fast he’s warping reality or the laws of physics depending on what translations you use, and Shinra’s time travelling ftl speeds.

  5. Immesurable speed is a bunch of bullcrap anyway
Because if you travel from Earth to Jupiter in -10 seconds , from our perspectiv you travel from Jupiter to earth in 10 seconds
That means the speed has not changed only the direction has
And while moving backwards in time gives you the ability to arrive before you leave , from their perspective we are the one who arrive before we leave marine any Argument for Immesurable speed invalid

  6. So this doesn't disprove what the actual statement is 💀. The threshold being higher in their verse is irrelevant since FTL is the threshold in FF and anyone in FF who is FTL would do the same. Therefore if you bring another FTL character in FF they would also move at immeasurable speed.

  7. Immeasurable speed is not a real speed anyways. Speed is moving through space in an amount of time, since negative time does not and logically cannot exist the fastest speed is moving a distance in zero time. Time traveling via speed can be initiated at any speed in fiction (88 mph does fine in Back to the Future) and is not itself a speed. Also if we're talking about traveling to the future with speed alone that's just called time dilation and it happens at all speeds.

  8. I am bit confused, I mean shinra is ftl or something, don't shinra go move for stop time (or freeze time) mean he go attack his brother for can move stop/freeze time???

ik it dumb question but whatever: where u put shira (from fire force) speed???

  9. FTL is FTL. Or else it wouldn’t be FTL. The fuck is the argument here. It’s a speed calc the same way every single other speed tier is and it’s static across the omniverse(every verse that exists). I don’t know Fire Force verse but “in verse” arguments don’t apply when the entire point of the tier system is to take into account all verses that exist. If you’re FTL, then you’re FTL no matter what verse you step into. The same goes with immeasurable speed. If you can travel backwards and forwards through time with sheer speed.. that is immeasurable speed,NOT FTL, regardless of the verse unless they explicitly describe how speed works in their verse while also not contradicting the tier system

  10. That Superman panel reminds me how much I like the Infinite Mass Punch, it's one of those rare, extremely rare cases in which both special relativity and classic physics are allowed in a verse simultaneously.
