The fact that Diddy's countless "friends"aren't running to his defense suggests to us at least 4 things: 1) He really didn't have friends; he had sycophants due to the power he yielded. If all those ppl had been friends, I'd venture to say that he'd be facing fewer allegations because real friends check each other & hold one another accountable when they see one another engaging in destructive behavior. Real friends speak truth to power and aren't just "yes men/women." 2) They can't really say anything because they know that a lot of what's being said doesn't contradict what they personally know about his character, ego, abusive tendencies, sexual proclivities, etc. The same Diddy getting the allegations and bad press is indeed "the Diddy they know", so their hands and tongues are tied. 3) A lot of his equally powerful industry peers like Jay-Z, Dre, Tyler Perry, etc. (insert any industry name in the new "billionaire club") are probably afraid that if they cast a stone, their own glass houses will end up getting shattered. Diddy is far from the only one with some dirt; his is just currently more public than that the dirt of others. Look at what happened to Slim Thug; Slim isn't even as successful or powerful as Diddy, yet the minute he spoke out, the internet exposed his skeletons about his allegedly impregnating his own cousin. He quickly walked back his defense of Diddy and shut the hell up. Ironically, Slim didn't defended Diddy harder than he defended the allegations about his alleged incest; he didn't even deny having a baby with his cousin when confronted online with that accusation, but I digress. At any rate, I suspect that's this is what the other big names in the industry don't want to happen to them if they defend the Diddler. 4) You ask about the security people, managers, etc., but keep in mind that there is a difference between friends and employees/professional subordinates.
