The Frigateer is a series where we take a fresh save with Normal Mode settings, that has skipped the tutorial, and work it towards being a save supported by a frigate fleet. It will be a slow start as we are avoiding any free handouts from The Space Anomaly from Expedition Rewards, except of course for any free frigates. Join us as we build a frigate fleet up from scratch.
We start today back on an old Pirate Space Station we found, as we have a freighter battle to do and a lot of combat heavy star systems in the area. We head to a pirate controlled star system and find a pirate dreadnaught attack just like we hoped. We take out the dreadnaught engines, shield generators, and fuel rods, as we want to destroy the dreadnaught completely. This leaves it’s fleet of pirate raider frigates hailing us ready to be purchased. We buy a pirate raider frigate or two that we fortunately find with a low fuel cost, then head back to our freighter to send out some frigate missions with our new ships. We head over to a space station in the Eissentam galaxy to explore a bit, but almost immediately get another freighter battle and more frigates to look at.
