No Man’s Sky is an action-adventure survival game played from a first or third person perspective that allows players to engage in five principal activities: exploration, survival, combat, trading and base building. The player takes the role of a specimen of alien humanoid planetary explorer, known in-game as the Traveller, in an uncharted universe. They start on a randomized planet near a crashed spacecraft towards the edge of the galaxy and are equipped with a survival exosuit with a jetpack, and a “multitool” that can be used to scan, mine and collect resources as well as to attack or defend oneself from creatures and hostile forces. The player can collect, repair, and refuel the craft, allowing them to travel about the planet, between other planets and space stations in the local planetary system, engage in space combat with alien factions, or make hyperspace jumps to other star systems. While the game is open-ended, the player may follow the guidance of the entity known as The Atlas to head toward the centre of the galaxy.

  1. For the trade surge, you buy from the type of system they mentioned, then sell in the named system (It was on you screen, you missed it) It's also marked on the galaxy map with the bag of money symbol!

  2. I have been requested by my frigate fleet to give me the honor of defeating ships attacking them. There is a few minute time limit however. Also there was a big patch for expeditions on experimental today! So may be even more improvements!

The only Gek lore that matters is that they are cowardly evil little backstabbing snot-goblins that waited for the Vy'keen to be weakened from their efforts to push the Sentinels beyond the edge of the Galaxy, then took over everything when there was no one to stop them. The only good Gek is a DEAD Gek… GRAH !!!! The universe will never forget… the universe will never forgive…

  4. Hey Steve, maybe I have to do some more research on this, but I’ve noticed that the random NPC encounter(s) on space stations are gone. They were sitting at the bar (that sadly got removed in Orbital). Talking to one of them would give you a longer interaction text and some options. Some even gave you tech and other rewards. Have you encountered anything similar to those NPCs inside the new stations?

  5. I've had several different events on frigate expedition. I always get a call in a spaceship. I have to accept the request from the away fleet. on some of them there is a timeout timer and the request is lost if i spend too long. Don't want to spoil the variety of these requests to. Keep playing, keep flying, keep sixteen.
