Echoes overhauls No Man’s Sky’s space combat, introducing freighter-to-freighter battles for the first time. Players can discover a brand new race of robots and take on robot assignments to earn mechanical parts to create robotic avatars.
No Man’s Sky Echoes also arrives with new pirate freighters and challenges players to defend their fleets and fly through enemy trenches to destroy them. In addition, travellers can now become multi-tool scrap merchants by trading and scrapping weapons. There’s a powerful new Atlas weapon up for grabs and the chance to assemble your own ceremonial staff too. Watch the trailer for a peek at all the new content in the latest update.

look boring and same loop as before, base look bad or quasi useless. With a touch of Star war , same way to destroy destroyer ship.
Wish they would be more vocal about when expedition’s are coming. Updates are easier to learn that way

Wow after all these updates it still looks and plays like crap. Its the most boring game ever updated.
To go from one of the worst, if not the worst videogame launches of the time to where the game is now is kinda mind blowing. Never charging an extra dime, delivering on their promises, then continuing to exceed expectations should be an example to developers everywhere.
two questions. 1. Can you hit with the stik? 2. Can you hit with stik in starfield?. If one lets you hit with stik but the other doesnt let you hit with stik, the one that lets you hit with stik wins.
Hope the next update we got more world varieties such as machine, Ecumenopolis, and hive cities, plus populated space zone

Some things I’d like to see in nms dungeon poi’s, that makes more reason to explore planets 🪐 this could include mines, cities, underground bunkers, have the poi layouts generate differently. Having several biomes on a planet, areas with completely different colours and dangers. Gas giants, where there may not be a way to physically land on them but they could have suspended air facilities, floating islands etc would be visually stunning. Finally space stations / craft able space bases whether orbital or not.
This may go down as the greatest gaming redemption story of all time.
It’s funny to see a gameplay trailer that is actually normal gameplay, the little jerks of the ship, the aim sometimes being off.
