For those wondering if there is going to be any more No Man's Sky, the games I play are largely determined by polling. Every two months my community can propose games for me to play on https://patreon.com/rhadamant and Discord https://rhadamant.com/discord. All of the proposed games go to a preliminary poll and the top choices of the preliminary poll become weekly choices. If you want more No Man's Sky make sure to vote for it in both the preliminary poll and the weekly polls. I got a freighter today. Randomly warped into a new system and was pulled into a pirate attack. I didn't think my little ship had it in her (all ships are a "she" deal with it) but I took out 7 pirates and got myself an B-tier freighter.
Now I just got to figure out how to actually use it.
I remember first time playing NMS. And finding my first derelict freighter at random, I think. Was pretty creeped out. Couldn't believe this game had such a cool thing. The depth is pretty nuts.
I bought the game because of your playthrough. I'm having a blast with it and the tips you gave really helped. Thanks!
What was the game a bit like No Mans Sky, but simpler, your digging in the earth making caves (You have to reach the core to do things… You have multiple tethers to keep you connected to the O2 supply. The ground was more like Clay. EDIT: did a bunch of googling finally found it. It was "ASTRONEER"
