  1. I believe in Michael Porter Jr. I think the moment got to him, his own doubts with his contract and what he's supposed to be providing (especially in the finals), and he forgot that for a game and a half. In the 3rd quarter, it felt like he got back to making plays without his shot, and that's a great sign. His shot WILL come. Every slump he's been through, he's gotten out of. I won't stop believing in him.

  2. We are killing them in the paint use that size advantage. If our three point shooting comes back, it will be the feather that breaks the camels back.

MPJ can still break out and win us a game. Shooters gonna shoot. Cut his minutes, if he can’t find a way into the game, but give him a chance to find his shot. Especially when he does good on defense, for example: bothering Gabe Vincent’s shot without fouling him. you can literally see him moving his head in the replay.

  3. I’ve cried and cheered and been angry and been nervous and been sad and been optimistic and been heartbroken over the last 25 years (I’m 33), it’s finally our fucking year. 😢🎉

  4. I appreciate the excitement over Jokic's place among the all-time greats, but let's pump the brakes. People are begrudgingly acting like he'll have to settle for #2 and then if he wins the chip this year, he'll surpass Jordan. If you're a Stat Bro or Efficiency Nerd, then you'll love that all-time career playoff PER is 1. Jokic 2. MJ, all-time career playoff BPM is 1. MJ 2. Jokic, and all-time career playoff WS/48 is 1. MJ 4. Jokic. But Winning it all matters. It's not toxic "ring culture." Jokic said it himself, he doesn't care about stats & only wants to win. Wilt is the most insane stat god (or stat padder) we've even seen, but he's 2-4 in the Finals, and justifiably not in the conversation with MJ. Every top-10 all time player has great career averages, but they all also have multiple titles and multiple Finals MVP (except Wilt).

  5. Well MPJ it was kind of predictable he'll have problems facing the first adversity, but KCP??? what? he can't hit a fning shot…also KCP is is totally out of it, just start BB already, MPJ at least utilizes his length on defense from time to time, seeing that, well I can't hit a shot, let me at least do this….KCP is done I think…to Vogt point, sure MPJ is tough when you compare him to overall population, but when you compare him to his teammates he's literarily the softest, so it's always about the context…I don't care about his shot anymore, all I need is him not taking 5 minutes to realize "my shot is not falling" let's start doing the other stuff 24/7, don't have those moments of self pity instead of making the second effort…and last, CB is that guy as Erik said full effort while still seeing everything, when MPJ goes hard, he makes some really stupid plays. he needs to work on that

  6. Few takes:
    1. Respect Vogt for his honesty and for standing up for his guy MPJ even if I don't agree with his take at least Vogt cares about what Denver fans and people in this community thinks unlike Adam who appears to only cares how big is your superchat.

    2. I think calling Denver fans who don't agree with Vogts take as losers is uncalled for and unprofessional behaviour it added drama and uncomfortable situation to what was supposed to be fun winners lounge.

    3. In my opinion every player is allowed to be criticized for their game especially if they played bellow their level let's not act like the situation wouldn't be different if we lost that game most people defending MPJ would be calling for his head. Let's remember that Jokic game against Sixers in Philly everyone including Vogt went hard on Jokić (deservedly) so if two time MVP and our best player is not beyond criticism why should MPJ be when he has a bad game, don't get me wrong I would love for MPJ to have a monster game and to be killing it from deep but we should call as it is when he plays bad.

    4. Nuggets in 5 let's go baby.

  7. I get Brendan’s niche is that he’s the #1 mpj guy but he can’t be angry at every fan for having doubts after 2 very bad games when he is so important to our success if we get it done.

  8. Jokic needs to talk to MIke, sure he's the type of person he projects boundless unfounded self confidence…but his confidence met his match, which is sucking in NBA finals, dude needs to hear from the guys, BRO don't worry you are the best shooter, you will win us game 4…

  9. Frustrating watching MPJ at times but he’s come on leaps and bounds. Need to get him involved more early on.

I’m personally very impressed with how much his defence has come on. He’s had 2 bad games , not all doom and gloom.

    Denver 4-1

  10. I disagree, the dumbest take of 2022/23 season is Embid as mvp.
To win the mvp title, getting embaressed in playoff and in a meanwhile mvp runnerUp wins the title with probably the best playoff series ever 🙂
    Hahahahahahaha!

  11. I love MPJ and i cheering for him to become as best as he can and how i think he should and can be!
But i think we should be honest about him like with any other player in team!
When i hear "he was phenomenal this playoff"…"he was outstanding till last two games"…!!! Really…he was?! Are he really, really was…?!
No he was not!!!He was nothing more than good! Like, just good at best!
And not to mention that he was just good for role player,as we all forgetting that he get superstar money!
We lowered the bar for him so much…so much that I can't think of, in 30+ years that i follow NBA any player who have 30mil contract and everyone was like "WOW,yeeey" when he drop 16p and 6 rebound's! "He is next Clay"!!!
    Right!
He was so terrible in difference that when he play ok defense few game, we're wagging our tails with happiness!
Somehow, someway he made us to lower the bar so much…so much that most of the time we literally lie ourselves! It's crazy!
He have to work on himself not ton…more like 5 ton!
When Adam says "he could play main guy somewhere and here he sacrifice"…what!? At this lvl he is now,he can't play nothing near main guy nowhere!
I still have much more bad thing's to say about him then good and that is not good for max player!
Hope he have that in him and turn around next season!
Because if he stays healthy and play next full season, whatever kind of player he will be at the end of the next season, that's the kind of player he will be and remain!

  12. This is Murray how we need him, the key is for him not to be selfish to play for the team, when the next regular season starts let him do what he wants, but now he has to play for the team like all his teammates.

  13. I don’t think we should let these last couple games cloud our vision of MPJ and the growth he’s made this year. Now that’s no excuse to play this badly on the biggest stage. People forget he’s really has only played like 2.5 years and he’s still working on his game and although he can be frustrating at times, the fact that we have a chance to win a championship and he isn’t fully developed yet should be terrifying to the rest of the league.

  14. I was so uptight about this game that I recorded it and re-watched it knowing the outcome. It's hard to keep in mind that this team has come back from 3-1 down in consecutive series the last time they had Jamal & Jokic. But, they are so mentally tough and even keeled. And it all comes down to Jokic. When they put maximum pressure on the Celtics Jayson Tatum melted down into a puddle of anxiety and the Celtics lost in 7. They thought the Nuggets would do the same thing. No. The Heat will have to actually BEAT this team game after game after game. Because the Nuggets aren't going to give it to them like all these other teams.

  15. MPJ part of the show was a little annoying tbh. I'm not sure why the feelings were so hurt by calling out MPJ to play better. He is a max player and the critics are valid. And just because you look at his play and comment on it doesn't mean you're "selling his stock". Jeez, you can be critical and still believe in a player. But he shouldn't be devoid of any criticis just because…

  16. I love all the angst here about MPJ. The Nuggets win on the road and everyone is all about an underperformance by one of the starters. Come on! No one can be amazing all the time. In a playoff run which thus far is 14-4, everyone has had poor(er) runs of form and not great games. Even Nikola was stymied at times by the Wolves, although he operates on a different level. But everyone else has had hiccups: Jamal, CB, KCP, AG (not a factor for 3/4 of the Lakers series), BB, not to mention Duncle, who astounds when he plays decently. MPJ has also had two poor games – this can be turned around. KCP has also been poor, but gets next to nothing in terms of scrutiny.

  18. vogt you understand that MPJ is MAX player? there is no world where MAX player should be that bad that you can replace him with rookie or bruce (even though he is very good). we all wanted for world to be objective about Jokic, let's be objective when it comes to MPJ

  19. I just can't believe that MPJ has lost his powers at the 3pt line and also KCP, and that kinda limits Nuggets potent offense, and gives Heat a lot of room on defense. He was great on the boards and defensive possesions though…. He contested so many shots that ended up in a miss…
