So during the past few test I been grinding the shit out of this minigame just to see if it was possible to beat it without the the improvement upgrade (hp, def and ack) that never drop.
for the build you will use
re:redhood normal weapon
reflector
boomerang
sword
the mines
as for last energy shield or a shotgun perhap. The grenades can be alright but they are quite slow so ill have to test that out more
make sure to have a bomb to temporarily clear the bullets enemy and give you space to move around with, the rest is focusing on bursting the boss while moving away and moving where the raptures are dead to take the least damage as possible, something i failed to do here but oh well.
For re:redhood upgrades I go
attack upgrade 1
attack speed upgrade
wolfsbane
attack upgrade 3
attack upgrade 4
attack speed upgrade 3
attack speed upgrade 4
wolfsbane
attack upgrade 5
projectile speed upgrade 1
attack upgrade 6
just like any character you want to fully upgrade it will take 482k gold to reach the final upgrade.
The main upgrade you want are bigger bullets and projectile speed for hitting more target and and extra 80% projectile speed, a good one since the regeneration upgrade never drop is the max hp because it goes up to 100% level 5 making it so that you can be able to get hit 7 times at least. Unfortunately i havent been able to upgrade everything else but if you dont have any good option a shield is ok but i wouldnt recommend maxing because it doesnt give that much to the build.
I use re:redhood because i wanted to try to make a build at first where i wouldnt need the energy shield as it does very little dps due to the sword, the reflector, boomerang and even re:redhood main weapon.
You can swap it out for a shotgun if you arent getting lucky with the build rng or if you want to be able to move around at the end game. grenades can work too but you will have to rely on a slightly bigger sword to dps the enemy who may get past you. if you ever get hit, you can use your burst until you reach the end game so that the reflectors redirected themselves to the bigger enemy, the burst is good enough to make a path in whatever dirrection you are facing.
The problem is that the build isnt single target heavy, its a lot of area of effect so you cant really create yourself a path to move along past the 30 if you dont have a shotgun since its pretty good to delete pretty much anything in front you making it good for creating a path to move away. The second problem are the bullets and the rapture that you have to take in account, unfortunately i gave to the panic of having to face her for the 10th time but thats just a me problem.
At the end of the day its mostly rng, you get lucky or not, it is what it is.
I hope that its somehow helpful and good luck beating the challenge mode.
