Nikah is a powerful and inspiring story of a young girl’s fight for her social and religious rights.
Opinionated and confident by nature, Anusha is a beautiful young girl who knows how to stand up for her rights. After losing her mother at a young age, Anusha has been brought up by her aunt, Umaima with a lot of love and care. Umamia is a bit hesitant about Anusha’s assertiveness and often makes her understand.
Class fellows and best friends, Anusha and Haris are in love with each other and soon plan to marry. On the contrary, Hamdaan is a handsome young man who belongs to a wealthy family and is the only son of his father. He falls in love with Anusha on his very first meeting with her however is respectful of Anusha’s choices.
Anusha’s hope and dreams come crashing down when Haris challenges her thoughts. The supposedly liberal fabric of Haris and his family is exposed when Anusha takes a stand for her rights. After losing everything, will Anusha stay true to herself and fight against all odds? Despite everything, will Anusha realize her true admirer and supporter in form of Hamdaan?

I don't understand one point of writer.. woh dono classfellows thy kitny arsay sy or anousha her bat us sy krti thi badtameezi krti thi larti this whatever lakin us ny yeh bat ni ki nikah me kya hona chyeh kya nhi..sb k samnay shadi me tamasha lgaya or apnay father ko bi kho dia..so stupid of writer.. they wanted to educate people about it ulta molvi ki awaz band kr di lol 😆 jin logo ko educate krna tha wohi log anousha ko bura bhala keh rhy just because of writer way of showing it.

Aisi badtameez aur jisey bado ka lihaaz tak nahi aata apni zidd aur akad k aagey aur jo apne hi ghar ka bado ka aur shaadi ho unka tamasha bana de auro k saamne toh ghatiya aisi ladkiyan hoti hai… Haris jaise ladke nahi aur tajjub yeh hai itna hone k baad bhi khud ki galti ka ehsaas hi nahi ghamand isey kehte hain aur haris se ummeed aisi nahi… Balqi bhagwan bachaaye har nek aur achhe ladko aur unke gharwalo aisi badtameez aur khud ko hi sabkuch samjhne wali ladki se…agar iski ammo aur baba ne do thappad wahi pehle hi lagaye hotey toh yeh akad naa hoti

  27. اس نے بھی تو جائز حق مہر کے اضافی رقم طلب کی تھی۔ نکاح کے موقع پر فضول بکھیڑا کرنا جاہلیت ھے۔ ضرورت سے زیادہ پڑھنا گلے پڑ جاتا ھے۔

  31. Omg everyone was blaming anusha .. forgeting haris mother wasn’t satisfied with anusha from beginning even without knowing her. So from the start she was looking for a chance to break their relationship 😢
