For this week’s video we visit Seogwipo Olle Market on Jeju Island. There’s so much food to try and lots of shops to check out.
One of the restaurants we went to that we mention in this video is called Olos/Orot. They had a delicious abalone bowl. Highly recommend checking that out if you also go to Jeju Island.

The best way I could describe the flavor of sea squirt is that it is not so different than putting your tongue on a 9V battery. Blech!
BBQ black pork in Jeju with the pickled crab as a side dish is a great combo.
Hello Taklyn and Jocelyn great video in Korea. Be safe!
the Shellfish is called a penshell Scallop
You didn't offer the little kid some.
Korean versions of churros and horchata! It’s almost like y’all were in Central America for a month before this.
It’s cool you’re trying things I haven’t seen on other VLOGs. 😊
Very mediocre first beer slam! But we'll let it slide! Awesome video ❤
Night Mark
glad y'all are still having fun. what i love about your vids is that y'all are real honest about what y'all eat, so i know what to get if i go to these places.
Are you using the Osmo Pocket here Taku/Jocelyn?
Love travel eats like this! Looks so delicious.
🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
even if they didnt rinse the mussel meat it woulda probably tasted like that stank tank water
doesn't osmosis occur if you clear any fish/sea food in the opposite water to what they live in
You two are so sweet and wholesome together. A match made in heaven.
❤
Would you get those pork roll again?
Totally agree regarding rinsing all sea food in fresh water. I always take home 20 to 40 litres of seawater, depending on how much I catch.
By the way, in NZ, we call them horse mussels.
Korea tries to be Japan
i always get into this discussion when my parents order sea cucumber or sea squirt in the states…koreans dont know why they order those sea animals besides it being expensive or harder to get especially when they just dose it in pepper paste…i dont get it it doesnt taste good and if you eat it "fresh" you dont taste anything
be careful i hear that island has an ant problem ………..
Never wash your freshly ocean seafood with tap water…they should be kept in fresh ocean water if possible…what a waste
That “scallop” thing is pen shell. You can think of it more like a clam and it has a firmer texture because you’re eating the abductor muscle part. Generally more fibrous and firm than your typical scallop.
Odd foods that didn't mesh. Taku's facial expression reminded me of when he tried sand crabs for the first time
"I don't know what that is, but I want it. I don't know what that is, but l like it." Girl same lol
I was at a restaurant un NC a month ago an oyster house, great deal on oysters vut they washed them. Otherwise great food , had to tell the server to pass along to not wash the oysters! So glad you said that❤
Man I was watching half of this video with 1.5 zoom
I’m like why they put Taku’s lips all big
What is with all the blow torches???? Just to attract customers??? I would guess that’s adding a bad flavor.?.? It all looks good but the torches…..maybe not.
who beat up your wife man…
