  1. Translation: "I'm hedging my bets where the QB situation is concerned and leaving it real fluid right now – and not even naming a starter at this late stage – because if Milroe loses against Texas, I can "justifiably" pull him then and start Simpson, and it won't seem so awkward. But I'm presently just going to go through the "expected motions" and start Milroe against MTSU, because he's "earned the spot." (In other words, for the fans…stay tuned and pray a lot).

  2. Always basic commentary from Saben. Simple, seemingly obvious, much of it related to psychology, often more for the players than the fans. Saben, the low key zen master. All the greatest teachers make it seem simple and obvious even though its not !

  3. I’m a Bama grad and fan but live in the Boro. MTSU is gritty. I like watching them because those kids like to play. I hope Bama wins 100-0 but I hope MT shows up well. I know that makes no sense. LOL

  4. I sense some slippage. I've never heard Saban speak as softly and as detailed like he did at 8:42. He always has just talked about innocuous things like building value for yourself to achieve the goals you've set for yourself bla bla bla. Hmmm. Anyway, RTR.

  5. I can't explain it but i dont feel good about this year when it comes to similar level competition. It is very possible Bama loses twice at home this year….and if that happens then Bama will have officially lost the "Bama Factor".
