Looks classy enough. Navy blue is a big improvement over whatever it is they call that icky lighter blue they use now.
I just flew on the 757 last week (coming and going), and I can say this is a welcomed change. These interiors are really looking dated.
If you want to fly a 757 on Delta, you are almost guaranteed to be on one if you fly ATL to South Florida. In fact, there are several 757's that fly back and forth to RSW all day.
I see nothing was mentioned about increased overhead bin space. That’s an area where all airlines need to improve.
If they're refurbishing the 757s, they're staying in service. Continental's 757s were once referred to as "the regional jets of the Atlantic". Let's see DL use them for thinner trans-Atlantic routes.
They look more like a dental hygienist is about to come and give you a dental exam than a place you will be seated for a 4+ hour flight experience. Hopefully they don't look as sterile in person as they do in these videos.
keep the 757 flying
I really hope delta picks recaro as their economy seat manufacturer…they are 1000x better than the ones on united, for instance
Delta also needs a new livery
Ticket prices going up 😢
TBH as long as the seats are soft and comfortable I don't really care what color the cabin is. Keep the seats padded and I'll be happy.
Very nice upgrade!
All that matters is the seatbottom cushion.
Seeing black. Relaxed journey? Black is heavy on the senses. Not for me.
Interesting that, despite the incoming A321 planes, Delta still relies heavily on the 757.
Oh imagine that with the old safety video styles back and some 777 and 787with that cabin.
I don't like it… it's dark and dreary. Plus, those flat seats are terrible.
Looks exactly like Air Canada's interior
Utterly hideous. What drugs are these people on?
Delta is part of SkyTeam, SkyTeam is Blue. Delta is American, our flag is Red, White and Blue. So why not have the airline integrate these colors: Navy Blue for carpet and seat color, with white accents, white cabin walls, red accents on the stitching, trim etc, and use a very light, pale blue for accents on the overhead areas for luggage, accent lighting, bathroom, etc to make it feel like airy sky, skyteam…
