I said since the guardian cap thing started that they should be required after a concussion. Either so many games or rest of season. Maybe even required every game if you have a history of concussions. Should also make a QB going down head first a penalty. The NFL has tried to do so much to protect QBs and overall protect injury… and even more for concussion. But almost nothing that can actually help. Like the QB slide is to protect them. As is contact at any point from start of the slide being a penalty. QBs are coached to slide proper and so many just don't and it's led to so many injuries over the last few years.
