Some teams develop and nurture NFL QBs – turning them into stars. Others put them through a meat grinder. Let’s find out who these teams are.

  1. Say what you want about Flacco but he brought stability to the QB position for the Ravens. The Ravens drafted Chris Redman, Kyle Boller and now they have Lamar.

  2. Hmmm, Cleveland's graveyard started in 1999 with the resurrection of the club; the dame year the now Commanders were bought by the Snyder clan. Texans were established in 1999 and had years until 1st game in 2002 to prepare their QB graveyard. 😋

  3. As a Broncos fan myself, I think I speak for all of us when I say Trevor Siemien was our favorite QB since Manning retired. Why? Because after being selected in the 7th round nobody expected anything from him. After Manning retired and Osweiler left we threw Siemien into the fire. And he guided us to a respectable 9-7 season. I think had he been given a better o-line and a little better coaching he probably would’ve made a decent QB

  4. The biggest issue is the owners not knowing football. They are fans themselves. And these coaches are stupid and shouldve never been given the opportunity. Its almost as if they are never asked during the interview what their long term plan at QB is. And the coaches try to run their own scheme instead of using the QBs strengths. Thus is why the Ravens have been successful with all their black QBs i.e. aging McNair and now Jackson. Jackson can look unstoppable at times because they always use the threat of running while using his arm as well.

  5. Carolina didn't ruin Baker. That distinction lies solely on the Cleveland Browns. They played him hurt and then traded him off to a sucky team. I'd like to see that kid rebound somewhere,

  6. Two team to mention because they have been historically QB gravediggers: Rams and Cardinals.

Rams have had only one good QB career since Norm van Brocklin and that was Warner. Just within my memory, guys like Roman Gabriel and John Hadl were wasted or dealt away. They even had Namath for a particularly painful season. It got worse when Carrol Rosenbloom died and his widow got the team. The only QB worth mentioning in her misbegotten tenure was Warner. But someone decided he was surplus goods and he wound up being the only decent QB in the Cards' time in Arizona for a couple of seasons. He was shelved in favor of Bulger, who was given far too long to prove himself, and then a carousel up until Goff was finally allowed to play by the incoming McVey. They have maybe turned a corner, but I don't see Stafford playing more than three years before he retires.

As for the Cards, Warner was about it. I think Neil Lomax is still the franchise leader in passing yards, career.

  7. I still think the Commanders, and really, NFL teams in general, should build a team with a placeholder QB like Taylor Heinicke, until they think they're truly ready for spending a 1st on a QB.
He's Jimmy G/Flacco tier, sure, but he could win a ring. Build a Defense, get an O-Line ready and when the time comes, draft the 1st round QB and get a running game.

Josh Allen came into a Bills team with a defense and fresh off a playoff birth, even if it wasn't the best team, but the defense could hold and gave Allen time to figure things out.

Alternatively, their QB will be good enough with the team.

  8. Too bad Carolina is like this all because Tepper hired a college HC to run his Pro team like a college team. Hell the fact that Rhule wouldn't even let Cam have a final drive at the end of the season when getting blown out by the Bucs is all you need to know.

  9. Chargers def deserve a dishonorable mention on this list. Every QB they ever draft in the past 20 years always gains the curse of horrible luck no matter how talented. Its actually a talent at this point

  10. I guess Mark Brunell lasted long enough to keep Jacksonville off of this list? Outside of him, they've had.. David Garrard and… who else? They are, after all, the team that drafted Blake Bortles AND Blaine Gabbert. Lawrence might be able to turn that around, as he's shown flashes… if they don't get him killed out there. Of course, that division is so trash this year, T Law might find himself in the playoffs.

  11. Before I even watch, the teams are going to be the Browns obviously, the Jets, I will say the Panthers.. I mean I don't want to say the Texans or the bears because they don't really take good quarterbacks anyway.
