interesting that they are flying directly over and in close proximity to the 5 most populated Blue states on the east coast and so soon after the election.. The government knows exactly what they are and why they are there else they would've launched drones of their own to investigate and capture footage of them. my guess it's a showcase/display to provoke fear/anxiety so they have the reason to research and "solve the problem" giving them an excuse to further increase the military budget.
