A new innovative pubic/private park built on the Hudson river in New York City. Located in the Chelsea and Meatpacking neighborhoods right next to the Hudson River Trail and the high Line trail. The park offers an oasis of Trees, plants, music venues and amazing views of New York City skyline and New Jersey. Best of all the park is free and the two music venues are free or moderately priced.
The artificial island park covers 2.4 acres (0.97 ha) and is supported by 132 pot shaped structures called tulips suspended above the water on pilings. Some of the tulips are 62 feet above the water.
The park was completed in 2021 and funded primarily by a New York family foundation. The Diller foundation according to Wikipedia contributed $380,000,000 to the project and $120,000,000 to keep the park maintained.

What a cool idea for a park! But the tulips look a bit more like golf clubs to me, but they're still very aesthetically pleasing! I love how it has the amphitheaters for public music performances and green space for nature. And yes, the views are amazing.
