  1. wasn't the new south ferry station finished after hurricane Sandy? like around 2013.2014? I remember the old south street station before 2012, trains would make lots of noise and all passengers had to move to the first 5 cars on the 1 and 9 lines to disembark, and enter the train. this looks like such a cool experience!!

  2. ps thank you for your diligence in reading us the details of all those famous names and important dates! was all very interesting! I've never even given Woodlawn cemetery a thought! I didn't know how important it was/is!

  3. It was not that long ago 70s & early 80s that some of our trains and definitely trams (trolley cars) in Melbourne, Australia, looked very similar to these vintage train cars. Only difference is that ours did not have ceiling fans. 😀

  4. You are my guilt free U tube channel! I'm from MO. Lived in Flushing worked in Manhattan for a year. I WISHED I KNEW THE THINGS YOU SHARE BACK THEN! I may have never left NYC just exploring the places you highlight!

BUT I LOVE THE THOUGHTS THAT FOLLOW YOUR VIDEOS! For example having a statue of Lenin standing in NYC.

Yours is a place where discussions about both sides of a thought are contemplated. And then we make our own conclusions. And sometimes change our minds! And it's all very good!

    Thank you!

    PS.
You have also shown there are stories about places everywhere! I'll try to find mine in Springfield MO!
