My guilds open beta experience was nothing short of flawless, including the war to defend out town. I've never played an MMO with that many players in one area all blasting out AOEs, and not seen performance hits, yet here we are. Very excited to see what comes.

Also Jeff has money (well, shares, but he can borrow against the value of the shares) not Amazon New World division. Sure they may have done some budget adjusting, because the first version of the game looked like it was not going to pay off, so it was better to give them a bit more, but it would be insane to think they had an insane budget, they actually expect to make money off this and there is no way anyone thinks MMORPGS is like some of the top single player games, they might hope for it, but the budget is still going to depend on realism not fantasy.
I'm pretty hyped for New World, as long as they keep the content coming after launch i'm hooked. I heard people datamined the existence of a whole new zone & 6 new endgame expeditions and new weapons etc. The MMO has a bright future ahead of itself. Also no monthly sub fee hallelujah

The MOST sold foundation for a MMO ever. If they dont milk their customers for every drop, people will keep playing. Make it a subscription based MMO and be done. Fuck cosmetic's, go work for your gear in arenas or PVE/Crafting. I hate DLC costumes. Defeats the purpose of a MMO with gear hunting.

Did you just say just like guild wars 2? There is not enought content in thd game and you gonna blast through? When was the last time you played GW2? At launch? Becouse gw2 has way more content then new world and way more then wow aswell right now you will just be lost
