  1. I think a really big problem with is that it costs a lot of gold to craft one of these. 450 for each type of orb, and you can make one orb for each type of gypsum. And this will kill the markets value because why would anyone buy those high gs items if they’re getting nerfed. Which means now that those who craft for profit won’t get money, and unless you play markets (which most can’t bc of server size, or just being leadership in a successful company) the gold out is going to sky rocket without much compensation. I think this needs to be cheaper, like 50/100 per orb. And we need something for gold gain. Like town boards that give gold once you hit 60 or something. Also all the ways to earn the gypsum are pve and pvp oriented… there should be some reward for harvesting or crafting and getting gypsum for that

  2. Everybody should be able to play the game the way the want to. Now it feels like they are forcing you to do chores (chest runs, elite runs…etc) which they call "end game"… Idk…

    BTW you can craft 7 gypsum cast per day, but you can't do it by spaming OPR or whatever method you like the most, so again, forcing players to play the "end game", seriusly if they force me to do corrupted portals farms to craft a dungeon key I'm going to get pissed… that's boring as fuck.

  3. Let me start by saying i enjoy this game and want it to do well. I love the pvp style howeer, I don't see both sides like you did here my man. All I see is Amazon taking away choice and forcing us to play the game how THEY want and not how WE want. Crafters will be forced to needlessly grind to make their crafted gear good again. Someone like me who plays duo pvp is now forced to find groups to farm pve rather than doing what I enjoy. I hate when devs take choice out of games like this. The whole watermark system is nothing but a grind for the sake of grinding.

  4. You’re giving them too much credit. People farmed watermark at the rate they wanted before. You asked how people had 560 void gauntlets already, it was by farming named world bosses. Not just by crafting. . Now it will be extremely time gated to prolong the end game because of the lack of actual content. Another dumb change. The game still needed 6 months to a year to finish so they’re prolonging it for that long until they add better stuff

If someone goes through the trouble of making a 600gs item they deserve to be able to use it without it being nerfed while they use it….like what if your friend hits 60 and just wants to get into pvp with you. Now they are forced to be lackluster until they play for days. Wack

  6. I think it will be good and work out for the best. Itl encourage people to actually play the game. Pvp and pve. Right now theres no reason to do anything if youve already got gear. Itl be a set back for a moment but overall it will make the game alive and breathing. Instead of just in a state of stagnation

  7. There is not enough content in the game to force people to grind it. Its simple as that.

    I just wasted +30k gold on pieces of gear that I will not be able to fully utilize untill I farm my ass off to +580 "expertise". Fuck AGS they are treating their playerbase like beta testers on a game that is ALREADY RELEASED and wasting people time.

    What if someone earned his gold through questing and gathering to actually buy his dreamed gear? I guess thats worthless too because you didnt earn it the way that developers intended xD

  9. The problem here is, the hour requirement to make one Gen or Laz orb is so high that it doesn't make sense to do unless you can get a shot at a legendary 600 item. I have been farming and grinding GS for over a month and now finally am seeing legendary armor. If your asking me to sink hours for GS upgrades on gear that i'm NOT going to keep just so i can experience dungeons… Your crazy. Ill do it when i can get shots at Legendries. END GAME is always legendary item builds. How AGS doesn't understand that blows my mind.

  10. These devs have lost the plot. All these ridiculous band aid solutions to one fundamental problem. They have not given players fun end game content. A games loot should supplement the game play, not be the sole focus.

    I haven't played the game since hitting 60 and from the looks of it I'm gonna continue to not play.

  11. Don't call it "sidestepping a system" please. People chose a different route in a stupid system. You like grinding chests? Not my problem. You take my self-crafted Voidbent away, then it is AGS' and your problem as I and many will be simply gone and playing a fun game and not one chasing some stupid numbers, crafting orbs for dungeons and what not. Once upon a time you needed just some skill to do end game content in MMORPGs, now it is an idiotic mind boggling time gated bullshit…

  12. The worst thing is it will kill the economy. I noticed it already as runic leather seller. The runic leather was on my server always on about 110k coins, after this news it's under 80k already. Ppl don't want to craft anymore, because it becomes useless.

People complain about genesis and laz costing too much to make the key and not being worth it.. just grab 4 company friends, make a 5 man run, doesn't have to be all in one sitting, you all get 5 dungeons for 1 key and in turn you each get over 5000 gold in total since the bosses now gives like 280-300 coins a piece x 5 and probably 1k+ from salvaging all the junk, genesis key can be made for 2500, they're literally free if you do them right.
