It’s taken me a little while, but here are my full thoughts/build for healing after the 1.1 “Into The Void” patch for New World! The void gauntlet is a pretty great weapon to combo with the Life Staff in order to provide some extra healing and buffs for your team, and is also a VERY strong weapon in PVP!

Sadly, New World is garbage. Its issues are so deep that they won't be able to fix most of them anytime soon. Plus the fact that the last big patch only made bad things worse, not better. Time to move on.
talk about god rolls on some of that gear. The lamest part of this game is the difficulty required to get the right gear stats/traits. Absolutely terrible for competitive pvp.
Revitalizing Beacon with Dodging before healing gives you +40% in heavy armor.
tl;dr Half the new abilities are broken and the other half are really strong … if you can get ahold of usable armor with the right perks. Sigh.
I'd be interested in a comparison of the two ulti skills – the heal/damage aura versus a second Orb strike.

Is it worth crafting a void gauntlet if the only perk we are after is Blessed? I do understand the perks are bugged currently and we cant roll the fancy stuff though..Also do you think Resilient isnt as important now or is it just because you spam crafted stuff and went for the expedition stuff before crafitng anything else?
It would be cool to see a build that focused more on void gauntlet and life staff as secondary
Wonder if it worth to take 2 points from constitution and 10 from focus and put them in intelligence to 50, so you can unlock the 10% dmg for light and heavy magic attacks? Or isnt there time for making attacks with the void gauntlet and life staff?
Hey, how viable is this build for grinding mobs solo? Do you actually do decent damage?
