  1. I personally didn't find it confusing at all, and just felt like all the changes were net positive. I few decent tooltips and this stuff is pretty easy to understand for new players as well.

  2. This change focuses more on getting to endgame too quickly. Right now, you hit level 60 – run to the trading post and full gear your character. Now, you actually to put in work to get the best gear. I'm extremely happy about this change. Didn't like the fact you could literally get all the BiS gear just by going to the trading post.

  3. I think it was the best they could do from a development standpoint, ie tweak existing systems without removing or changing fundamentally. Hopefully in the future they can clean it up and it will be clearer

  4. Yeah it definitely makes it confusing for new players, personally they just need to clean it up a little bit. Like how tf am i gonna explain this to my friends if they get the game.

  5. Think you're way off the mark here with the crafting to endgame comments. If anything this creates multiple ways to endgame which can only be a good thing.

If crafting will stay at what you craft regardless of your expertise drop does that mean when you get a crafter to craft it for you and trade will it still be 600 or will it go down to your expertise slot raitings? Yet buying it off auction house it scales down what would be difference then getting it from a crafter to trade you or buying it off AH then so many flaws in the system

  7. What do you guys think (I am a notorious startup whore) – is xar having a monthly influencer contract? It seems similar to movies having hidden ads that even corporations are getting into this game with streamers. This will most likely be deleted but just putting this out there.

Well, alot of people dont want to craft so, they need a way to limit them from buying bis and not playing the game, on the other hand crafters should be rewarded as well for spending 300 hours on fking 200 armoring. Makes sense but, maybe they should make it so your expertise just matches your crafting skill if it is higher than your natural expertise.

  9. the problem started with the HWM to begin with. Get rid of it!!! and just implement a weapon / gear usage leveling system. LET ME LEVEL THE GEAR I WANT TO USE, the more i use it the more i wear it the better it serves my character. Anyone that's 600GS right now because they had the time to grind elites to level their HWM will crush it, every item they creating using the new Gypsum System will be GS 600 (something that a crafter worked hours to level, not only for themselves but for helping their company and its members. New players don't stand a chance catching up. ASG should focus on fixing the bugs this game has not implementing patches that will most likely create new exploits.
