  1. Most of these have been resolved. The watermark affecting crafted armor was addressed earlier this week so this content creator either didn't do their research or created the video, found out about the update and just left it in for dramatic purposes

  2. Still playing with 3 friends, and weirdly, still kind of having fun. But we're just crafting, doing a bit of questing among ourselves and ignoring most of the game, it's just too broken. Giving town control to PvP players that impacts the rest of the player base was such a bad idea, they don't tend to be especially community minded, to put it mildly. Letting your worst behaved players set the tone for your community was never going to be anything other than a total shitstorm.

  3. This video is just so saddening, I had really high hopes for this game and had a group of friends join me at launch. We didnt mind the fact we had to traverse half the map to start questing with eachother and none of the major glitches had been found yet. Had a lot of fun progressing and creating our company. Ill wont forget fond memories of doing the first dungeon boss like 7 times because we kept dying but still having fun, but after everything that came to light none of us have played since.

I'm disappointed and sad but ill remember you fondly new world, hopefully someone else can make it better.

  4. I hate to be honest, but when the game was cooking graphics cards in the beta maybe everyone shouldn't have just taken their word for it when they blamed everything on EVGA. Everyone should have known the coding and design was broken from day one.

  5. This is why I always wait at least six months before buying any new AAA game these days. Usually by then most of the bugs will be ironed out (and it'll be a decent amount cheaper). Though it seems like in the case of New World it's going to take them much longer than six months to fix everything.
