  2. I could watch Adam talk about his insights into elements of the gaming industry for literally hours at a time, this new stuff is incredible, especially the highlights at the end with other guests, this rules

  3. i'm only here for Adam, great work everybody! really appreciated the panel with people who play mmo games, I really do love MMORPG's. My first was World of Warcraft around its launch, played casually up until Cataclysm but left do to not having the funds to continue the subscriptions. I came back with playing FFXIV for a bit, but once again subscription made me leave. I came back to MMOs with Sea of Thieves on the xbox and it was nice just having the one subscription for Xbox Live Gold (and now Gamepass) which allows me to continue playing Sea of Thieves (And now Fallout 76 since it is good). I would like to go back to some MMORPGs, but having multiple subscriptions just isn't going to work for me, especially now that i have Gamepass which isn't gametime for Sea of Thieves, but also a bunch of games to play.

  4. MMO channels, Reddit, definitely big youtube gaming stars are making New World content. There's a LOT of people in the game right now. A LOT will leave after a month or 2…happens.

  5. I just want to say it's so good to see Sess back reviewing and examining games and the industry. Still the best in the biz. Maybe have Morgan Webb's face in a little window in the corner of each review so we can kind of pretend X-Play is finally fully back

  6. perceived-class discrimination, people just feel they are better than the other.
The entire Justice was hijacked. Attempted murder. Will-full ignorance and arrogance. Lawyers love money and perceived power.
Garant vs Norfolk Southern Railroad. After being hired in 2011 and telling the physical doctor that I may have M.S. and after being approved for FMLA in 2015 for possible M.S., then fired in 2017 for possible M.S. and with such a rush, attempted to cancel medical insurance for my family and I a month before they were allowed legally, and expecting I die without medical aid as a result of their actions. What is M.S. and how is M.S. diagnosed, with what certainty, if there is no test, everybody might have M.S.?

  7. Much more excited for Lost Ark, it's the only game I can say I've gone far enough out of the way to play as to use a VPN for the Russian client. It's a little weird at first because of the heavy asian influence in terms of UI and all of the mobile -esque features, but the gameplay is solid. Can't wait to have an actual english version without 200 ms although I'll miss seeing overly pretty asian characters speaking russian.

New World looks alright too, I guess.

  8. Elder Scrolls Online has that weapon system but you're still locked by class. Anyone can use any weapon though but it definitely doesnt seem as intuitive and fun as New World.

This was a really good discussion, im right there with Ovilee, been playing mmos since i was young, toontown was actually my first which i got to actually play at disney around launch, didnt have the specs for FFXI at launch, kept the cd for years weirldy never installed once i actually did, by that time paying for subs was rough.

My friends and i actually boosted some cards for wow subs and xbox gold back in the day. Anyway bounced around after WOW, dipping my toes in free games from Entropia to Uncharted Waters online, chasing the dragon of a ghost of community,

Its weird how some games cling on because of their community but alot of modern games i have noticed there is very interaction between players, Its definitely easier to talk to your guild outside of game but just in general it can feel awkward.

Anyway long story longer, i finally settled in FFXIV and feel like it has the best balance of gameplay and actual tools for socializing. My biggest thing with mmo's has been player housing and i really enjoy being able to find furniture and collect pets in addition to chasing the meta

  9. Hey it's pretty cool seeing X Play again. I've always enjoyed your critiques Adam. I feel like you have an opportunity to really speak your mind on this platform, moreso than you could on TV but not necessarily unrestricted. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, if anything there's a possibility that there are not more/less restrictions but different ones as well? Watching you brought a sense of nostalgia that was enjoyable. Anyways, cheers!
