Here’s a look at my New World tank before and after a water change. The water is cloudy, but I believe it’s from the crushed coral I put in the canister filter.

  1. Every time I do a water change on my tanks the water is cloudy after for about 2 days and then it get really clear but the fish don’t seem to be stress out and I get my water check at petsmart and everything always looks good so I don’t know why it gets cloudy after but it does.

  2. I usually use seachem alkaline buffer if I need to raise ph and kh,,,,, but be warned raise kh and ph very slowly,,,, even if you take month 3 or 4 weeks to raise ph,,kh there's no rush

  3. I really like the way you've set up this tank, except for the big clump of plant in the center. But that's just my opinion, and not my tank. How many gallons is it? It looks huge. I'd love to have a tank that big. 👍🌿🐠

  4. Is it possible that the poultry grit' mineral makeup has dramatically altered the water on a microscopic level.. affecting the bacteria culture?
The cloudiness being a mass plume of fleeing aerobic critters seeking an escape from the massive influx of new elements which now envelope their home.
So .. before you die of laughter at my theory?
    An unexpected Bacteria Bloom.🤔🐟🛀🐌🚿
