I have finished all the content currently available in New World made by Amazon Game Studios. I’m currently Level 60 and have played since Alpha. Heres my Review.

  2. 3.5/10 oh boy, thats bad :D. I played the game until lvl 20, boring combat and terrible FPS when to many players are in 1 area turned me off the game.

  3. interested in what you think it will take to get it up and or better over time, i think to your video – mob variety, better gearing and progression, optimisation, more areas/dungeons? crafting patch or conversion? or some things are core and will never change i.e. weapons and progression, stats

  4. Same opinion here. In the beginning the game was actually fun and for a short time I had the feeling of "I wanna grind this game all day", but that only lasted to about lvl 15 where i finally realised that the "endgame" is basically reached at lvl 1 already since u are always doing the same fking boring shit except from dungeons and pvp but imo that looks also very boring. Also every city looks the same (same buildings different location), every single location has the same mobs, same quests, same everything. Also the abilities are so fking boring, u essentially unlock all abilities at wep mastery lvl 3 (yes u can upgrade them etc. but that mostly doesnt change much). I admit that for some reason it feels satisfying killing mobs with, for example, the hammer heavy attack and also farming is quite satisfying, but doing that is essentially just wasted time since u have ZERO fking variety in this game so why should I keep playing this? I didnt want to buy this enitially but my friends were playing it and I told them look at the past Amazon games, they are ALL beyond trash and got shutdown after like 2 weeks and with all the bugs and lack of content the same will happen to this shitshow of a game, maybe not 2 weeks but 2 months and this game is dead. Like, u cant even switch gear sets ?!?!

  12. This review is way too harsh. You should know more than anyone else with the hours you have put into this game what they have accomplished over the last year. The game went from being a full loot PvP sandbox with little emphasis on PvE to being a full on PvE themepark It takes most games over 5 years to make a game and they reworked their entire vision in about one year….I'd like you to name one other game that could have switched gears and put in all the quests and PvE content they rushed to add in just about a years time. Is it great PvE content? Absolutely not, but it is something and there is quite a bit of it considering the time they had. If you give this game another year I bet it will be pretty fantastic.

    I love it when people play hundreds or even thousands of hours of a game, finish it, then turn around and trash it because it isn't perfect or there isn't anything to do. Don't even try to convince people you played 400+ hours for the sake of doing an honest review….you enjoyed the game at some level and at some point and I guarantee it was at more of a level than a 3.5….did you seriously even think how bad an mmo would have to be to even deserve a 3.5 out of 10 rating? and how absolutely far off from that this game is? I really need to know what you consider a 10 now…

  13. NEEKO! So glad you made this review. I couldn't play more then two streams of the beta before I was bored out of my mind. Not a fan of the game at all but good to see a review from someone who has actually played endgame and goes into detail.
