It is correct. It's a rolling start of the servers
When planning our server launch times, we took fairness and your feedback in mind and have designed a server roll out we hope will support the majority of our players. We took local times into consideration and will launch in the following order:
8AM CEST EU Servers will launch (9/27 at 11pm PT)
8AM BRT South American Servers will launch (9/28 4am PT)
9PM AEST Australian Servers will launch (9/28 4am PT*)
8AM ET NA East Coast Server will launch (9/28 at 5am PT)
8AM PT NA West Coast Servers will launch
Global names mean EU Servers are getting swamped with NA players trying to reserve their name…

This makes sense for things like poe races. i've argued for them to roll a races launch by region and then roll the end of the launch because of time differences. but on game launch with names globally locked then whichever server launches first will probably catch on fire..

They're staggering the regions to lessen the effects of the rush on the servers and to allow time for adjustments.
What it means is the west coast servers are starting 3 hours later
Looking for a pve only guild on NA east olympus. gathering is cool but looking for dungeon , world elite and raid grinding

This is so stupid! This is so weird wtf! Ya it makes it so that people don't have to be up at weird times to start. I don't agree with it. Also will events and that sort of thing be happing at different times in the future? This has unforeseen consequences that could kick their butt down the road. I don't think this is a typo. There has bee no word from Amazon.

I am not sure if they have taken the date line account. If they have, then Oceanic will be one of the last ones to come on line if it's all launched on the same "date", as we are one day ahead of the US. :-
In Europe we had enough games that launched at your guys timezone and it was like 3 a.m for us xD so deal with it. Also it's not a race, we are all gamers and want to have fun
There are so many PvE type MMOs out there why are so many of y’all commenting and looking to make this game so PvE oriented. Leave the more PvP oriented MMOs alone we already have so few if any good ones at all.
with that being said… EU can expect a flood of brazilians, aussies and muricans to create a char on EU just for another 4-5h "beta" run to 20 practice 😀

From my understanding the times are correct… est to pst is 3hrs different but it's still 8 am their time and our time… and from what I heard Amazon wanted it to be more fair so everyone gets the same total amount of game time in their days.
Does this mean if you live in eu you will be able to play at september 27th at 8 in the morning already?
Still sucking off a dev for central servers.
Or you can wait a few days to avoid Long Q’s?
