As someone who isn't a min-maxer my character is the Paladin Con/Foc build so if I'm not talking I'm using the amber but I think you're right I might as well just put some into str
This is interesting. I currently have 200 pts intelligence and 70 in constitution using a fire staff and hatchet with a Ruby in my hatchet to scale intell. So basically instead I should split the points thru intell and strength ?
Interesting you conclude that "scales of base weapon stat", means the weapons "main" stat, i figured it scaled off the weapon BASE DAMAGE STAT, ie it's Thrust Damage!
Otherwise, why would they mention INT/FOC on most gems, they could just had said "Highest attribute". I think your conclusion is flawed? However your test is still valid…
Great testing however I was expecting some sort of revelation but in the end you just confirmed that the Gem does what it says on the box which I thought was fairly obvious.
Do Jems stack?
Do this with INT gems and the results will shock you. I play great axe and ice gauntlet, Im not spec'd into strength at all and I hit insane damage numbers.
