New World – Making Gold In The Early Game – Crafting, Questing, Trading Post & Gold!

So we are back with some more New World as this time we dig into making gold in the early game! With many companies rushing to try and get a town in the first few hours many players will be trying to help earn that required 100,000 gold! But what about day 2, 3 & 4? What sort of items will be selling very well on the market?

  1. How long will the game last if things are going so quickly? I mean not counting the super grindy stuff late game, but stuff like starmetal. If some people get there in 3 days while for others it takes weeks there might be quite the difference between players (not even counting skills) which might make some feel weak, and perhaps make them quit if they are defeated a lot in pvp. Well let's hope I'm wrong because it is after all supposed to be more of a casual oriented game, so death by pvp ain't that big a setback.

  2. The big focussed companies are all going to be sweating their members for the quest gold they make getting to level 10. I think the "lone" or smaller company guys can make a lot of money if they follow the guidance here.

  3. One nice thing about a heavily sharded game like this is that we're unlikely to see armies of RMT bots on day one. Me, I don't take any of it seriously at first. The no-sleep, no-life rabbits will mostly be "won" and gone in 90 days. And that's when the game truly begins, in my view. Oh, but I do love launch day. They happen so rarely now and there's something about them that I utterly enjoy! 😃
