New World has finally launched and so far I’m having a great time, in this series you’ll see my journey leveling from 1 – 60 forming my opinion about the game in preparation for a full review once I hit max level, along the way you’ll see me experience various content from PVP to PVE, dungeons, open world fights, sieges, crafting progression, questing, exploration and more as well as the occasional rant when I come across something that annoys me about the game

The oneshot part where you weren't sure how you died, looks like you might have been right on the edge of the suicide bomber guys explosion, they deal insane damage

Cant shake the feeling that there is no true end goal in this game :-?? Feels like literally every single thing you do is just to keep busy and have the impression that you work towards something but its just a checklist that accomplishes nothing notable in the end.

Yo Peon! Glad you got so much fun content out of the game. Unfortunately for me, I found myself rather bored within the first 2 hours. I pressed on to about 8 total hours of playtime, but inevitably felt it was too repetitive and just couldn't bring myself to slog on. I didn't enjoy the combat, I enjoyed gathering but that could only carry each playthrough so far, and I had a hard time finding a class that felt right for my playstyle despite usually running warrior/tank archetypes.
Ultimately, I think this game will be well worth the price if you're someone who really enjoys Runescape-esque sandbox and crafting/gathering, but if you're looking for fun combat & action style gameplay, meaningful progression, a decent story, or any other staples of a good game, you'll be sorely disappointed and would be better off not spending the funds.

Really enjoyed this longer format vs your usual single shot videos, even if your editor probably needs therapy now. My interest in this game has waned hard though, the "new to MMO" whiteknights might love this game (I suspect from the forums, some of them are paid to shill) but having played this genre for over 20 years now, this launch has easily been the worst I have experienced. The game feels like it is in early beta and most disheartening is that every time a bug is fixed, it creates several more. It is like watching a blindfolded man trying to build a jenga tower from greased ice cubes and it just screams that the foundation (lumberyard) is a mess of spaghetti code.
