One of the easiest ways to get rich in New World is to refine resources. By refining materials into higher grade you can re-list them for a huge profit. Today’s video will teach you how you can determine if items are worth upgrading without the need for a spreadsheet. Take advantage of this while you can because once spreadsheets and calculator websites go public this won’t be profitable anymore.
It’s interesting that nearly a month into release this aspect of the game hasn’t been solved by the majority of the playerbase yet. It’s an interesting study on MMORPG’s in general that people are so occupied playing other parts of the game that they aren’t cornering the markets and getting rich while they can.

I created a spreadsheet for myself and just have to update the auction house prices of each item to determine if there is a profit at any tier. Unfortunately on my server everyone seems to do this same thing every minute of the day so prices are pretty normalized across the board. Not much profit to be made.

ty for the good advice. I loved crafting and selling on LOTRO but this is so much better because I dont need an alt in every profession like I had in that game. I am having a blast at this game being terrible at combat but I am killing it at gathering crafting and selling. I almost got killed by a jumpy musket, ice gauntlet player in pvp. he was level 11 and I was 25 . He did not kill me but I ran away shocked at the result of our fight lol.
There is a tool called a spreadsheet that most people use for calculations. Makes the presentation a bit cleaner. The problem with the market is that you can’t see sales. So you could go through all this work and get stuck with significant inventory. Nothing sells on my server even if you undercut the price by a bit.

The problem is t1, t2 and t3 materials are more easy to sell, u maybe have to wait 1 week to sell all that t4 materials
to much struggle for that amount of profit.
