As Chandler says, all tiers give 5 trophy slots. So you need to ask yourself, how much gold in weekly taxes am I willing to spend on extra storage? You can pay, I believe 2k gold per week for a 20k house while paying under 500 gold in taxes for the tier 1 house (not 100% accurate on prices, but very close). I believe there are ways to cut down tax amounts like, your guild owning that territory (they will then lower the housing taxes for the guildies) and using territory standing points to lower the cost, however, if another guild takes over, they could raise the taxes just as easily. I would suggest only buying an expensive house if you plan on crafting/using that Territory for a long time since, again, extra storage and faster teleport CDs is really the only benefit of owning a larger home as far as I know.
This is a good change of pace from Sethphir’s 15min+ guides
what if i buy a T1 house with 50% discount and sell it later will i get 50% discount on my next buy again ?
housing tax can be as little as 5% or as high as 15% if a bad group takes over and jacks the taxes up so be beware.
I heard tier 4 houses are level 30 territory standing now… am I wrong?
Any idea on where to get storage chests that aren’t crafted. I leveled the furniture skill in closed beta and it took forever and a ton of resources just to be able to craft the t1 chest.
I can add a tip for high lvl zone, (from 108 game tips and tricks) [spoiler]The mobs see you from farther and agro you if they have 10 level greater than you.[/spoiler] It's a good game mechanic.
