  1. Many thanks, Myca – good timing too! The odd thing is that, personally, I don't much care for the role of healer but our odd and rather tiny budding Company has several members who are not the classic killer Bartle-Type people and never would have gone anywhere near New World had it not been for the healing and the crafting. That said, especially if PvP is your thing, playing a healer, at least for a time, is a must in my view. It helps you become a better player and helps the healers do their job as well.

  2. GREAT JOB once AGAIN on the guide! Definitely more informative on the skills and talent choices with the situations they will be used for. AWESOME!!! 🙂

THO, once again, back to the "Negative Nancy" in me(I'm a guy tho…lol). I STILL can't wrap my head around the fact, when you say, "…that Light's Embrace is MORE mana intensive than Divine Embrace!"? Divine Embrace clearly uses more mana(25 mana>w/passive: Privilege=20 mana) than Light's Embrace, which only uses 18 mana. Albeit, the spam use of Light's Embrace over Divine Embrace is on a shorter cd, which in turn will use more mana over the same period of time, giving you credence to your statement!(Can't deny that!…lol), BUT, I guess I may be nitpicking at the fact, that Divine Embrace is ONLY useful on 3 targets for it to be more efficient, and YES, in turn use less mana. Although, the conditions for that use of Divine Embrace HAS TO BE MET. The ability has to be FULLY upgraded, and wherein, the criteria of 2 other close range party members, from the targeted player, HAVE TO BE below 50% HP, which in reality, is a "niche" situation for you to find yourself in, and for it to be used efficiently. Granted, in PvP Wars and such, this should be of use in trying to take over a Capture Point, though, and the occasional Elite group farming, NOT so much outside of that.

To be honest, I personally would LUV to see this ability be used more often(cause I think the talent is a GREAT "OH S#^T!" button), but, I have found it to be NOT used often enough, under normal conditions. UNTIL the end-game levels of play, where and when group members have more of an understanding of how to position themselves properly in encounters, I wouldn't recommend this ability to be used so sparingly, until such time at levels 45+ Expeditions and Elite group farming. There are other ways of keeping up your group much more efficiently through proper use of Orb of Protection, Beacon, and their upgrades, although it is a more protective/pre-emptive style of healing, I found it to be MORE affective than just the inefficient spam healing.

With THAT said, this comment is MY opinion, and should NOT be taken as some sort of gospel, but a different outlook of choice when it comes to healing. I just want to clear up the facts on the 2 abilities. (HOPEFULLY I'll just keep my mouth shut next time around, and not make it seem like I'm bashing on you!….lol)

Much luv too-ya and I'll be looking forward to the next!

  3. My problem as a healer has always been targeting and gauge watching while also focusing on group combat. Maybe I’ve just gotten tired of it or too lazy. Plus cooldowns suck as everyone yells more heals, more heals. So, for this game, I’ve decided to go with the actives: Sacred, Orb, and Splash. No more targeting. We’ll see how it goes. GL healers.

  4. Great guide! I am still a bit confused about the type of armor we should use as life staff users for leveling, what do you think? Should we go heavy or light armor ? or maybe medium ? Thnaks! Also followed the twitch channel, hope to you see you stream soon!
