Welcome back to New World. In this video we are talking about a game breaking bug that deletes hours of gameplay because as far as I’m aware there is no fixing it so it’s either create a new character or you can’t play anymore. You one upped keysword with the Fishingrod sword… lol I hope you can get out of it…It seems like it has to do with being in that bait menu and getting attacked. It should have closed fishing on you being hit.
I lost my left hand with will using ice gauntlet in a similar way and am not sure how to fix it
No problem. Just play the whole game with that fishing rod. After a few fights you gain the skills for the fishing rod and special attacks. You can actually play to lvl 60 with that.

LMAO..funniest thing I’ve seen yet in any New World stream. You seem to be a bug magnet. Good thing you are only lvl 8. Probably best to just delete your character and try again, At least you know where the hemp is now.
happened with a hammer i had equipped . only way i could get anything else to change weapon was to go out and let a monster kill me. try that mate other than that i have no idea will try and find you some help

i dont have the game , and not gonna get the game till they fix the GPU getting broken problem, and fix most game braking bugs, and if they not so be it, im not gonna buy it…

Wow, what an anoying bug, i tryed fishing and had no problems. Good to see that your graphic card didnt burn while you play it 😀 I have underpowered my RTX card just to be on the safe side when playing this.

Too bad you can't use it as a weapon. Being hit hard would sting like crazy.
Imagine hooking an enemy in the mouth. I bet it would hurt like hell. Especially if you start reeling them in.
Does the rod have some sort of weapon stats?
