Nah it sounds cool, but it will be hype for like a month then die out imo, the less servers the better, server cap increases should be the focus. I know a lot of people you would much rather be in que instead of a dead server.
Awful idea, waste of time.
People have a concept of them that will never match reality. Hope AGS doesn't waste any time or money on them, they would only bring temporary players.
Hoping there'll be a need (enough interest) for fresh start servers with this patch and a future one that wraps up the leveling revamp.
They have to wait until their territory revamp/balance changes comes out before doing fresh servers. If they launch them before that, it would be a hilarious waste of resources.
I might be interested after they’ve revamped questing from 26 – 60.
I can just see what happens, the gold sellers dictate the economy and at level 20 you will need to pay $50 for a level 20 25 minute honing buff, joke.
Fresh start servers in my opinion are a bad idea at this time. The main problem now is ques which need a transfer option to alleviate. The game is also too new and playerbase too small. Those asking for fresh start for an equal/even footing aspect will be disappointed when try hards and those with game knowledge max out and are running the servers within 2-3 weeks, leaving those behind again. Add in the content creator's and their followers joining these servers and the problem I mention will be even worse. These servers would be indistinguishable from any other server within 3 weeks.

Would be alright if they added some fresh start – no transfer servers with the Brimstone update. I wouldn't play them but I'm sure folks would love it.
I personally dont want a fresh start because I feel we were "left behind", Im a new player and its not the first time I start playing a MMO a year in. I want fresh start servers because I dont believe for a second that they actually banned all the duped gold and its not fun to play on servers dominated by people with dozens of alts with capped gold.
I'd return to the game with fresh start servers with all transfers blocked. But at this point, I don't find much motivation to roll a new character for the expansion and just playing catchup
So when is the beta over with and game coming out ? Next time a game better pay me to beta test their game instead of me paying 40$ to do it for them !
Fresh start servers right now are a terrible idea, yet it's the same people spamming forums over and over.
Are the voice overs and such in game now or when the new patch drops? Never played and wanted to get the grand exp and not start today and miss out of all the new juice.
I'm all for fresh start/no transfer servers. Had stopped playing months ago and wouldn't mind experiencing the new changes from the beginning.

I would like fresh start servers. It would bring me back to the game. Probably wont come back if there is no fresh start servers.
I wonder if they would. I'd imagine they'd be worried about starting a fresh start server people quitting before even hitting 60. Then the rest of the players quitting because it's a dead server, forcing it to get merged defeating the whole purpose. It would be a risk for them and am curious to see what they end up doing.
I wouldn't mind fresh start servers and some point for those that want it. For me I've put too much into my character for that to be appealing. I do like the new starting experience, however a dev in one of the recent interviews said they are working on a way for high level players to experience the new starting content. So I will be waiting to hear more about that before making any decisions.
Now what can they do about queues? I think some sort of "guesting" system for a smaller pop server would be a cool long term solution, but in the mean time I think they need to look at being able to transfer your character from the login screen instead of in-game. And maybe offer a free token. But we've had issues with servers emptying because everyone left because they had a free token and then you just moved the queue to another server. Perhaps they should have a discount on the transfer token? Like 50% or something. So it is cheaper but there is still a cost so not everyone will transfer.
I'm 25 or so hours in as a newb. I would obviously welcome new servers with everyone ground up but it's not my place to comment maybe as much as the vets here should.

I would be down for fresh start even though im 1.3k hours in. MY PROBLEM WITH NEW WORLD IS THAT BIS GEAR IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET, YOU SIMPLY CANNOT GET WHAT YOU WANT, They need to make BIS gear, gear you want accesible, because not only do you need different stats for different builds but also different weight pieces. Which is nearly impossible to get. The game is simply wrong in this aspect. And ppl don’t realize it because they are not at the estage im in currently. But when they get there. They’ll see what I mean. You literally cannot play different builds in this game.
they should redone the whole leveling to 60 before they make a fresh star server. Otherwise they shouldn't even think of making one.

Whats up with streamers insisting on Battlepass systems in an mmorpg. If u want seasonal content with wipes, go play Fortnite. Or any battle royal, I honestly don't want battlepasses in mmorpgs. That said, I do want fresh servers!
+1 for fresh start servers from my site :3 Quitted the game in December 2021 and personally do not want a pre defined server with lv60 transfer-players – those who do not like the fresh new servers: they do not have to move to those servers
New fresh start server is a dumb idea consider NW barely has player increase, it will just take players from current servers and some return players.Not a bright idea.
I will be back I n the game if we get proper fresh servers with the revamp.

Great to have you back, it's taken me an age to get my character where it is, don't want to start again. If as an existing player I can play the changed content would prefer to do that
The reason most existing players don't want to reroll on a fresh server with transfers blocked is the same reason most new players don't want to join this late in the game. The player base is suffering because New World doesn't have a place for casual players. You either have the best gear and the hours that goes with that or you are cannon fodder.

I think the fresh start servers are a great optional addition to the game, the journey from 1-60 is by far the most exciting aspect of the game in my opinion especially for open world PVP and territory.
That feeling of “oh wow they have a level 40 with them we can’t take that fight unless there’s more of us” was so exciting knowing that you still had a chance 👊🏼
WARS – Monthly server wipes which allows the less experienced players to still get involved in Wars, Wars were by far more fun and exciting when we all weren’t maxed out and using the best gear, gives players the freedom to participate in what they enjoy! ⚔️
Optional yes. If they did wipe everyone then that's it for new world for me. I'm not throwing a years progress down the drain.
I'm waiting on fresh start servers to come back for multiple reasons.
If they do fresh starts, they should wait until they do all of the leveling, for a real reboot. They have only done 1-25, so maybe finish 26-60, then "reboot".
