  1. Played since beta but not the last 6 months as endgame is lacking and lack of pvp updates,

    The expansion will make or break this game,

  2. I have skipped every cut scene in this game, have no idea what story is about and cannot care less. Instead I care a lot when in the evening I want to hop in for one expedition and it takes 20 min to find lobby cos of gear level and difficulty difference

  3. U guys need way more of those cinematics and all the other series u got going.
    Like the one about all the enemy factions.

    Telling story by that and bring back isabella would go looong way <3

  4. I love the 2.5D cutscenes, the art style in particular is really good. I would love see one getting more details about the backstory of the more important characters like Thorpe or Yonas. I also would like to see full 3d cinematics for big events like the expansion.

  5. As another artist, I absolutely LOVE them, I'm so glad the game is using them, everytime I get to see one I get so excited! makes the whole story get a lot more weight and importance imo.

I think Major content updates like Expansions and Seasons should have highly detailed CGI cinematic trailers and the questing should have the illustrated cinematics as far as subjects for possible future illustrated cinematics I would like to see some exploring the lore of the player factions and the Soul Wardens especially Yonas and what exactly happened to him and his fellow Soul Wardens.

I would totally love to see more 2.5D cinematics when you complete an expedition for the first time (and then, like, have an interactable lore piece to rewatch it again), in order to get an idea of what was that boss that you fought, their goals, their lore, etc. (Something similar to how Tempet's Heart ending cinematic)

  8. I love these cinematics, but I often rush through quests and pay little attention to them when I first see them. I wish there was a cinematics tab in the journal where you can watch all the cinematics you've encountered.

  9. Can we see more 3d cinematic in main story or key invents? In fact we have only 3d cgi game trailer. This is “game comix” not cinematic, but they lock perfect. Do it at least for expansion.

  10. This discussion was fantastic. The Lula's eloquence, with no surprise as a writer, offers such a deep-dive into the process and emotion. The artistry in the game beautifully conveys the punctuated points of events and characters that should be envied by other gaming studios. Excellent work!

  11. It is an absolute shame that our older characters cannot do the brightwood/weavers fen questline after the changes. Everyone is missing out on these illustrated cinematics. Please allow us to re-do those quests if we had already completed it so everyone can enjoy these. Thanks!

  12. Im sorry, but no illustrated Cinematic will ever surpass the game's intro Cinematic where Thorpe and Father Russo talk and the ship arriving to Aeternum. That should've been the norm when it comes to cutscenes. If we needed to have Illustrated cutscenes, they should've been left for small things.

  13. Someone should really make some vids about the story of New World. Its hard to keep track of it imo . Im really interested in the whole lore, history, characters ,… Of Aeternum. But i just can't find a source that explains it. Maybe somebody else found a source of this kind? Ty!

  14. Need more cinematic like you guys have in the opening of the game with…false advertising showing it in the start of the game and to expect more in the game but nope ….. lazy still cartoon images cinematic …. draw that crap in 10 mins

  15. The game NEEDS in game cut scenes or at least a few CGI cut scenes to help the players connect to the story better. The 2.5d maybe "pretty" but its disconnecting.

  16. I'd like to ask why you still not able to bann koeksal babas other accounts named: monyan and tomris h. Instead peoples messages get deleted and they get a timeout. Even when they have proof bcs of a stream they made. People stop playing because of him but you dont care at all. Good Job at failing banning the one guy who get reported 24/7 by people but no one cares 🙂
