The pure incompetence of new world devs is out of this world
This doesn't bode well for Lost Ark. While they haven't built LA from the ground up like with New World, they have demonstrated that internal QA is either at best lacking or at worst non-existent. The beta for Lost Ark starts next Thursday, let's hope they have squashed enough of the bugs that localisation has introduced that we can focus on testing systems and such instead of doing their QA for them.
I'll admit that I get more satisfaction than I should from watching games burn.

Here is what you do Amazon: Go the FF14 route. Chuck your game in the bin, Hire developers with MMO experience, then completely remake the game. Oh and don't forget to appologize profusely to all the people who's time and money you wasted playing this dumpter fire.

i think the biggest mistake new world made was not having unit testing and i refuse to believe that they do have tests because how on earth does this much get through if they do.

So selling something on their auction house is actually giving it away if you're not online when someone buys it ….. how the fuck after decades of people making MMORPG can this kind of thing happen. This is like the car industry suddenly forgetting how to attach wheels to cars.
This really makes me wonder how GW2 handles roll iframes etc. handling that client side makes it way more responsive, but as you say it leaves it in a bad state.
