  1. Hey guys, hope you like burning stuff!!! Before I get a bunch of people asking, yes I'm trying to grind REALLY HARD to get ALL weapons done before launch. This means YES I will be doing the lifestaff. Just bare with me b/c it normally takes about 4-5 days of working 10-12 hours a day to make ONE video. There's a TON of work that goes into each one from beginning to end and I appreciate the love you guys are giving me as support! Thank you all!

  10. Hey thanks for yet an other great deep dive on a weapon, that shows actual proof on what the skills do (rather than the misleading tooltips). Your videos and your channel get more popular, because you deserve it! You just put that much more work into build videos, compared to others, that theory craft solely on the (faulty) tool tips.

    Keep up the great work and I wish you a great start at launch day! 🙂

    Edit: Just here to say, that flame thrower may deal "huge DMG", but basic light attack spamm deal 100% dmg + 6s of 3% burn every second. Thus, if you can land all your shots you get 500% direct WD in addition to 15% WD over 6s. That's not THAT far behind flame thrower and as you've mentioned, offers a huge range advantage over the flame thrower skill. And if you land the occasional incinerate skill on your enemies, you also never run into the trouble of over-stacking the burns. (diminishing returns on the flame thrower skill DMG)

Just subscribed, very nice content you're producing!!……Very disappointed to hear the Fireball and Meteor Shower skills are lackluster……you're talking about two iconic skills that would be associated with Mage characters in any game. I really hope Amazon gives these skills some love with the expected balancing that will take place over the next weeks and months…..

  26. Also, if I'm in a rune of helios that's about to wear off, and i cast burn out to apply fire stacks. Are the burning damage increased by rune of helios? does the burning damage go lower after rune goes away or does it get locked in from the initial cast?

  32. One thing that I actually did like about Fire Staff was the fact that Pillar of Fire almost always hit for double the damage. Maybe this is due to the fact that most things in new world are running at you? Also, I very much enjoyed putting an arcane gem on the fire staff. So whenever you go against mobs that are resistant to fire, you still actually do some pretty good damage with auto attacks.

  37. So if I understand correctly, you can apply 3 different fire stacks on your enemy. A 3% from most of your skills and attacks, a 10% from burn out and a 20% from musket? Was thinking of a build where I start the engagement with powder burn musket for easy headshots and a 20% burn stack, then switch to fire staff to finish enemies off. Powder burn's dot effect counts as elemental, correct? than means it scales with int and not dex?
